Multiplayer maps.
I couldn't find the idea anywhere so i'm not sure if it was requested already. If it was, sorry for the inconvenience.
Basicly new PvE maps similar to goblin maps, but would require two players to beat since one won't be enough. Maps with 8 mortars/12 archer towers etc.
Might as well add xbows and inferno towers while at it if this idea really comes true.
Thanks

I guess the key word was multiplayer? Because the Similar Threads list seems to show something along those lines.
Still, the search feature is hit or miss, especially when not sure how to exactly type in the search terms.
It has come up 2 or 3 times while I've been here, so it isn't brought up excessively like other ideas.
Main issue I see is a technical one. The system is designed so only one player can access a village/base at a time. Along with that, connection protocol between your device and server are setup to hide connection issues as best as possible. You can be disconnected for quite a while, (as long as the app isn't auto closed, like when mine finally declares it is hopelessly disconnected and stops showing the 3G or 4G signal half a minute or more after the start of the incident), and still resume without skipping a beat as your app keeps running its copy of the game engine, with the server running its own, and sync back up again when the connection clears up.
If you were to have two or more people join in, then actions would be akin to a three legged race, as everyone that's connected has to stay in sync in real time, or pause or slow things down when something happens to one of the players. Then you'll have to figure out what the rules are if someone drops, or how much lag compensation there is between players to smooth over out of sync actions (with a risk of weird events showing up as the game goes, "Wait, this actually happened a second ago!" and cause stuff to just appear or get destroyed suddenly for no apparent reason from the temporal flow of the game studders).
It isn't impossible, far from it, since there are other multiplayer games, but those are other games, already built and tested from the start to handle those issues. Clash of Clans is specialized at what it does currently, and would take quite a bit of work to be adapted it to multi-user access.
In other words, you have a really hard sell to make if you want to convince Supercell that breaking from CoC's currently established game model, to allow multiplayer, is worth the huge amount of time and effort.
(I guess it is a bit too late to say 'I kind of like the idea otherwise', huh? :()

Thanks!
I see so it was already brought up but probably won't happen basicly :P
Thanks for the quick and constructive reply cheers:thumbsup:

They have this sort of feature in boom beach with their operations, you don't both attack at the same time but the bases are still too strong for just one person, so multiple people attack it and the damage from previous attacks stays destroyed. Is this the sort of thing you were talking about?
