Game freezes then drains phone battery.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3,the game has just recently started freezing then draining my battery instantly even if on 90%......any ideas/help!

I had the same problem with galaxy s2, i don't know what i did, i think i reinstalled the game or what but the problem got fixed. Oh and i had some new apps ,uninstalled them and everything seemed fine :D

I recently downloaded CoC on my Samsung Galaxy S3 i9305 (16gb, 2gb ram, 720p) and some issues I am facing:
- Battery usage is higher than most apps
- Device gets hot very fast when CoC is open
(Battery and CPU). Both while charging and not. This is the hottest the phone has ever been.
- When charging: Device blackscreens when normally going to sleep mode. Nothing except removing battery works. Happened 2 of 4 days. Never happened on any other app.

Using 3g network capped at 500kb/s. No wifi to try atm.

My brothers Galaxy Trend (A slow phone) and Xiaomi mi3 are working fine.

Let me tell you something, first of all, all of your problems are common. Clash of clans uses high CPU to preventing from lags, You can simply download the app called SetCPU and set the clash of clans to run at 800 or 1,000 MHz. It will reduce the temperature of your device. And 3G , H , H+ and 4G are not recommend for clash of clans and WiFi causes less battery drain.
My Galaxy s2 seems much better now with SetCPU and WiFi. Btw your phone needs to be rooted for that app.

i had that problem on my old iPhone and when i talked to SC they said it was probably because to was an old phone on an old iOS so i guess it might be the same problem but on the android system

Galaxy s3 is not that old man, I still play it on my s2 without problems. 1- disable all the other apps while playing, 2- Set cpu to run coc at lower MHz, 3- play on wifi.
