Question about troop count

I have room for 50 troops between my 2 camps, and I only have 36 troops in those 2 camps. I have paid to train more troops, but it has stopped training them and it says all camps are full (even though I only have 36 out of 50 troops available for combat). What am I doing wrong? I just started playing a couple of days ago.

What kind of troops are you training? Perhaps they don't fit? I was thinking there might be a dragon in your barracks that won't fit in your camps but seeing as how you only have 2 camps, I'm guessing you haven't unlocked dragons yet.

Maybe it's glitching out. Have you tried restarting the app or maybe even your idevice?
