Donation Filter

Have you ever requested for specific troop *eg. Wiz* and somebody accidentally pressed the wrong troop and then u have to clear that troop and wait until you can re request.

What happens is when you request troops you will be given a list of all the troops and you can select what troops you are accepting. So if I select wiz and archers, that means people can only donate to me wiz and archers.

If I was to select no troops when I request for troops then that would mean you are accepting anything and any troop can be donated to you

This little box would look similar layout to the donate troop promt and would be located below the add a message text box. So you can still add a message

If somebody was to add a filter to their troop request and you were wanting to donate them a troop all of the unaccepted troops will appear red to indicate you can't donate that type of troop

This would also apply to war so you can be specific what troops you are accepting for your was castle.

I hope that I made sense, tomorrow if anybody likes the idea I can crate some sample images of how it would look.

So what do you all think? Good, bad, suggestions?

Why do I think it is a bad idea....
In our clan we have players from TH4 till TH10.
If a filter would be implemented the lower TH players would not get a chance to donate and only the high TH players will be able to donate because everybody will filter out weak troops of lower TH.

EVERYBODY NEEDS TO DONATE. THE LOWER TH PLAYERS TOO!

Dont take away the chance for the lower TH players because you only want the best of the best.
Be happy with the troops you get, they are a gift to you.
When your mother gives you a Samsung Tablet are you going to cry that it isnt a I pad4?

Troop type: Yes
Troop level: No

Low levels should still be able to donate but no one wants giants in their clan castle.

Lower th can donate low level troops! There's no restriction on the level of troop. Just what troop you donate matters. Plus it was mentioned that there's an option for donating "Anything" as well.

Nah, definitely agree with you on that, and on the donation filter in general. Low level players would just have to live with it, but the level of the troops not mattering would still even that out.

Are you a mindreader?
Because you dont want giants n your cc doesnt mean no one wants giants in their cc.

Also some people always ask dragons, never change the request.
They dont need dragons all the time, they are just lazy to change the request.

This would mean I could only give my dragons.
Or this one...

When someone join our clan and request dragons before saying hello, I say " you want dragons? Ofcourse, I make one"
After that I make some goblins and donate goblins and kick.
That will teach him not to hop in our clan for expensive troops.

I agree with you. Many times people are just too lazy to change their request. I almost never use drags and would have to make one special just for them. Unless it's in a war, I generally don't care what I get in my CC. I just look at it like an extra gift. In my clan I always discourage asking for specific troop level, except in a war. It discourages the lower ppl from donating, and everyone needs to donate. I too would not like it if I lost the ability to gob & kick. Also, I like getting giants in my CC :)
