Advanced Troop Request

I'm sure there must've been many cases where you ask for a dragon and people fill you up with archers and other stuff. And its very annoying sometimes.

So here's my idea. When you tap request you can check mark the troops you want (obviously whatever will fit in you CC). So the clan members can only give you that particular troop. They can't donate anything but that. There should also be an option for "Anything" (Could probably add personal message in that as well).
And also in the chat it will be shown what troops are needed. And as someone donates that troop will be removed. Ohk I guess its kinda complicated I guess. But lemme try it with an example.

So I asked for 3 archers and 3 wizards
So in chat it'd look like:

->3 archers
->3 wizards

And then someone donates 3 archers and 1 wiz. Then it would look like:

->2 wizards

And if you made a mistake and ask for a particular troop you didn't want, then its your fault. Wait till the request time is done. :p

I hope you understand and lemme know what you guys think about this. Or probably modify this idea a bit to make it better. :)

Everybody asks for this don't waste your time if sc wanted this to be in the game they would have added it already,

You could say that about any idea, oh it's not in the game yet, it obviously sucks and they don't want it

Not a bad idea at all! And for that idiot that said "if sc wanted this it would be in game," yea then why do they have an entire subforum dedicated solely to ideas such as this......

It's not a bad idea. But it sounds like you need better clan mates, not a fix from supercell.

One drawback, and this happens semi frequently in my clan. Say I ask for 3 wizards and 3 archers. And then I change my mind. I need to wait 15 minutes before I can re-request. Same if I request the wrong troop by accident. Or, what happens more frequently is I'll say 'level 4+ hogs for war' and a clan mate will say 'have you considered using max loons instead?' Currently, in any of those scenarios I don't have to wait to re request, I just speak up in chat.

If you have good clan mates this is a non issue

True. My clan mates are good! They donate perfect troops. But in the past clans I've been in, they have criteria for elder and co. Donate this much and you get elder. So just to get that people fill you up with anything. And as I mentioned about the option "Anything" if you're unsure about what you want. So incase you change your mind you can get what you want. "Anything" should be like default option. So you don't accidentally press the request button and ask for something else.

Or how about some sort of system where you can ask for this OR that. I'm sure if SC considered any idea on this forum they'd implement it in a very user friendly way.

Good idea, but people should still be allowed to donate anything they want. People sometimes forget to change their request message after a war asking for a Dragon/Wizards, and in chat they will say "Just give me anything".

Plus the fact that requests specify levels, that would be too complicated, imo.

It DOESNT specify levels. So that even lower people can donate.

Unfortunately, I request troops with specific levels, and I'm sure others do so too especially during wars. If I can't specify the level and a lower level clan member donates then I'd still be receiving an "undesired" troop, which would defeat the objective of your idea.

So if you add levels option its gonna be complicated and its gonna restrict the lower levels a lot. From what I've read so far people are concerned about lower levels not being able to donate.
Anyway atm people still can give you undesired troop. If you implement this donation method you can reduce it. Not completely stop but you can reduce it. And If you add levels to it then it'll stop completely BUT it'll be complicated and lower levels will have the least donation cuz higher people will pretty much always will ask for high level troops. You wouldn't want a level 2 archer in CC.
Should probably come up with some solution which would satisfy everyone.
