How to fix the lightning problem!

lightning is NOT a problem!

Are you so tired about those players that continuesly complain about DE tank Zappers and that every day about 3 to 5 new threads are made to whine about losing a bit DE.
I might have a solution that might benefit us all.
As we all know surtain words cant be said and appear as hearts, isnt it possible to something like that with the word Lightning.
But instead as censoring it with hearts when it get posted, the writer should get a warning message.....
Something like: "ATTENTION!!! ARE YOU SURE THIS TOPIC HASNT BEEN POSTED BEFORE? PLZ READ FOLLOWING LINK BEFORE POSTING!!
That would save us all a lot trouble and annoying moments.

Thanks god I actually started reading the thread before posting. I was about to post a rage comment that probably would've gotten me banned lol

True but still they should get the ATTENTION PLZ message and open the link before they are able to post any thread containing the words Lightning, zap and DE storage/tank

Personally I do think it's kinda cheap that de can be stolen from using lightning spells, there is no way you can really defend against it and I think that's what frustrates a lot of players, so what I propose is to maybe add a resistance to lightning spells on the dark elixir storage (50% maybe?) that way it can still be damaged by it but it'll take less damage obviously and hence less de taken, or another way it can be done is de won't be stolen until the storage has been reduced to a curtain amount of HP (example being that beginning at 50% HP de can be drained) and it'll encourage players to better strategize stealing de, after all this is a strategy game and it's again, kinda cheap that de can be stolen this way.

And here is the idiot who doesn't even read the post. He just assumes its another complaint about zapping.

Actually talkling about your idea now, I like it. The only REAL problem with DE zapping, is all the threads about it.

Ok look, yes I didn't read the post fully before posting, it was an honest mistake and I apologize. But don't criticize my intelligence and be so unprofessional, and I didn't deserve to be called an idiot for it by that other person above, it wasn't necessary.
And going to your point, thing is you can't really stop people from posting these, even if you filter 'lightning' people will find ways around it, but being rude and abusive towards those who do start those threads doesn't help anything.

People should have the right to complain about it if it's a problem.

Frankly, SC should do something about it.

Not saying they should get rid of zapping.

My solution is to get rid shields triggering from destroying townhalls. That way revenging becomes a practical solution again. Getting rid of townhall shielding sould fix a lot of the games problems.

There. Another complainant about the problem by proposing the very same thing "resistance to Lightning Spells." Similar to the suggestion "Anti-Lightning Shield" but in the manner of reducing the amount of damage taken from Lightning Spells. :facepalm:

The opposite of what you said in the last part. That's what will happen if they remove the free Shield after destroying the Town Hall.

The things ruined are the following:
1. Farming Bases
2. Keeping Resources Safe
Explanations:
1. The reason why the Town Hall is outside when building a Farming Base is that when an attacker comes and sees the base, they go for the instant win by taking out the Town Hall and ignore the loot. If the free Shield is removed, the defender wouldn't get a good rest because of continuous attacks from everybody else until a pro farmer comes in and ignores the Town Hall and goes for the loots.
2. As said above, if there is no Shield earned after having the Town Hall destroyed, then more and more attackers will come and take away his trophies until a pro farmer (as said in Explanation #1) comes and steals all his loot.

I don't think you can decipher what complaining and then coming up with a viable solution for both sides of the whole De zap thing. Now if you want to go by this logic....it doesn't matter if the town hall gets a shield or not the de resource is never safe. So yeah, going by what you said.....it doesn't matter if you farm or not, a lower level player can take de from any player without placing even one troop.
