Pretty much backs up what I've thought for a while now, that xbows and infernos are undervalued and the single biggest reason for mismatches in clan wars.
Thanks for sharing.
from what i have read on here seems people are using their gold offering as their war weight.
They are clearly not the same.
my mini ranked 14 my gold offering is 48000 with 170 de in my current war.
The 12 is offering 46800 with 171 de.
He is much more developed than my mini. as he has lvl 4 tesla, lvl 6 wiz towers all lvl6AD and some max cannon and AT.
My defense stopped at th7 max other than AD. one of my tesla is lvl 1 the other 2 are lvl 3.
he is obviously ranked 2 spots higher than me.
To complicate things further. we have a totally max th8 mini in our clan. his war weight was 49500 180 de and has remained stable though 3 wars.
just to add to this, the clan we were warring was nice enough to let me in to get some numbers.
a max th8 is 49500 listed on during the raid.
However his total available added to 326700. divided by 6 gives the weight of 54450
the 12 that was listed above me was 308880 divided by 6 is 51480
and my account was 285120 divided by 6 is 47520
all which seem to fall more into line.
Simply taking the small gold total seen is not the same thing as a war weight.
You need the numbers to do the math, there is a nice post here on how i got these numbers
http://forum.supercell.net/showthrea...lculate+weight
incorrect.
You assume I did not already account for that.
However I did.
that war weight is the final weight.
if you read the link i posted you would know why.
although running the numbers 2 ways i may have made a slight error.
the max th8 was valued at 181500
by a th 10 so give it a 50% penalty.
this comes to 363000
then divide by 1.1 to account for clan bonus 330000
divided by 6 = 55000
i had originally multiplied the 363000 by .9 instead of divide by 1.1
however there is a slight difference between the two of 550 pts.
hence there is no need to divide by 6.6
if you were to divide by 6.6 you would have to divide the 363000 which would equal the 55000
hence the numbers as i originally stated are vastly different
i didn't attack, no need to.
I simply joined with my th10, and looked at loot available and no I can't as I am no longer in the enemy clan.
Am i some how an unworthy source, what exactly is the bug up your backside.
That's the weight, plain and simple.
If it were the gold available during attack, as posted above on my first post on this subject, how on earth would I have a higher weight than people vastly ahead of me.
Simply, i couldn't. It makes no sense. I'm sure if you go looking at your clan war log you will see the same thing at some point in your teams bases.
Their bases were worth more than mine in the reward, which makes sense as they are way more advanced. The gold on the attack screen....i'm not sure how that number comes around. What I do know, is it's not the weight of the base.
How you get that is the reward loot (take into account penalty) (take into account clan bonus) / by 6
a max th8 is 55000
if you have an issue with that number,
Prove it otherwise.
Nice try... for baiting us to reveal our secret formula. That is not going to happen.
I was initially puzzled why would the co of one of those so-called 'Elite' Clans would post such a thread. Either he was completely clueless or there was some underlying reason...I see finally the rational behind this thread.
I'm not disagreeing with the weight of a max TH8 being 55k, but trying to find the cause of discrepancy in the scenario you described in post #154:
I have compared the weight of my clan's bases with the loot available during the raid. If I apply the appropriate multipliers to the loot available during the raid, the result matches with the weight. It's rather odd yours don't match, so I was suggesting a possibility where you may have left out the clan perk loot bonus because 49500*1.1=54450, which matches with the weight of a max TH8 perfectly.
Then you added more info in post #156, but the reason your gold offering is different from base weight (or available loot during the raid) remains unknown, so I wanted to see a screen shot for clarity. I'll see if I can spot the cause after I get back if you provide something we could work with. If it matches for everyone in the thread you quoted but not for you, there's probably something you did differently.
