hmm i believe you are paying a diamond to see next offer, not order the package, usually there will be a delay (24 hours) you will see after you ordered mystery package offering what new mystery package may contain.
i accidentally spend one diamond on that before the confirmation tab.
you need 3x35 diamonds for one mystery package for brt and windmill. 3x25 for penny farthing. each gift ticket cost 3 diamonds.

hope this explain, my english not so good i know. lol

thanks, Spanielgirl! I discovered, after months of pining and trying for that windmill that the motion of it annoys me. So it is on a far corner of the farm where it will not continually catch my eye. But I still like it!

Tried for PF and windmill several times and mostly got back food items. Kinda nice change from the topes ;)

Whilst I haven't been trying nearly anywhere as long as you have...I have had consecutive losses at attempts before....most disheartening :(

Donsta, I thought of your post when I discovered i cannot have my windmill in plain view. I don't know of i am mesmerized, lol, but that jerky spinning action in my peripheral vision is distracting. I should have anticipated this problem since I have almost all of my production machines hidden behind trees and bushes. But, just to check, I am headed back to the farm to stare at the windmill so I can experience possible mesmerization. :) And, good luck on your BRT quest!

So to put myself out of my misery, I took the plunge and Bought the BRT. It is very handsome and look good on my farm
but on the other hand I am broke now lol

Hi everyone,

Hope you don’t mind if I let off steam by adding my rant .


It happens everytime.... why do I never learn?.......


I’m quite a good helper anyway, but then, (Oh the excitement, the anticipation!) the tractor comes up for grabs..... .........


So I work my fingers to the bone, watering every tree and filling every boat with stuff I can’t really spare, from San Francisco to Hong Kong. Yes, even Sugar, cream, and goats cheese lovingly made overnight.... all in the hope that the great deity of Hay Day will spot my good deeds, and it will all add up to that elusive , beautiful shiny reward.


And what happens? Well you’ve guessed it . Another *@&!%***!*****! Bicycle. (I quite liked them when I first caught sight of them, but you CAN definitely have too much of a good thing)


So I sulk. Retire to my farm. Occasionally water a tree if its really shouting at me and tripping me up, and decide I will never, ever, help another boat again. Convince myself that the Hay Day deity is a mean miserly soul who probably rewards selfish people more.


And then,( usually after about 24 hours of mega sulk), one of my neighbours gets a horrendous boat to fill, and I take pity. And it all starts again. I convince myself that I might as well do as many good deeds as possible because , well, you never know when it will be up for grabs again, and its nice to be prepared.......


This time,whilst I was in my latest sulk, it occurred to me to wonder what it must be like to work for Supercell, and imagined the following scenario between the CEO and an employee


“CEO : “Ah Cream Quackers! Good to see you bright and early at work this morning.You’ve been with us quite a while now haven’t you. And my, you HAVE worked hard, and been an especially helpful member of the team, and the board have decided that we should give you something in recognition of your extreme hard work.


Cream Quackers (Quivering with excitement and anticipation) “Well, sir its a pleasure.I do rather enjoy the work”


CEO “ Well I don’t know if you are aware....but...we have here a special catalogue from which hardworking and helpful employees like you can choose your reward, and I know we don’t keep track of all the good deeds you do (just five a day), but it seems you have done enough good deeds to choose anything thats listed here! Now, what would you like to choose?”


Cream Quackers : (breathless with excitement) Well sir, ever since the day I first joined I have dreamt of owning one of those beautiful red tractors! I know it doesn’t have an engine or anything.And dosn’t actually go anywhere. But it is my DREAM to own one (Thinks.., and could probably have bought one myself soon if I hadn’t been so damn helpful..)And I notice it is in the catalogue...


CEO: “A tractor you say? Well, yes,of course thats what you’d like.. I just need to put it to the board....”



....Sometime later.....


CEO: “Ah Cream Quackers. Please step into my office. I have some good news for you!”
“Remember we spoke of all your hard work, and the fact that we would like to reward you? Well the board have decided that in respect of all your efforts we would like to present you with this....POT OF JAM!”


I have evolved two plans of action for this scenario. Plan A is to shove the CEO with his umbrella wielding bots into an area fenced in with wedding cake topiary and throw the jam at his head, and invite all the other hard working disappointed workers to join me. But then,... that would only give me satisfaction for a little while, and wouldn’t get me any closer to the shiny BRT,so...


I might offer him a compromise (in return for not throwing the jam). How about .. when we don’t win the tractor, maybe a wheel, or a gear stick towards it? So that eventually, we could build our own?.....That would at least help offset some of the anguish. Maybe even eventually (at really high levels) an engine - although thats probably a huge software design issue.


Speaking of which. When I first saw the gold pig on a bicycle statue thought it meant that when you went to the farms that had one, you might see one of their pigs occasionally escaping from their pens and riding around the farm on a bike. Now wouldn’t that be fun?....and give us something else exciting to work towards?.....


Meanwhile, I must say that, despite it all, I love this game. And I can’t remember the last time I was this excited about easter... Amazing what the anticiaption of a few egg decorations and maybe a bouncing bunny or two can do...

may i suggest another option? What if Quakers goes into the bosses office to get the prize jam, happens to "slip" and fall on the office floor, sues and owns the tractor manufacturing company!

Never got my brt chance today, a few misery vouchers short yet again, only got 2 instead of 5... Will still be there tomorrow though, and I'm already sorted for brt number 2...?? (I don't think so, lol)

Have just checked out of curiosity, and GirlMixALot is only the UGC away from having a number in every column..!! Everyone else is at least two or three behind..

A couple of weeks ago I tried the windmill once again and nothing :(. I got a caterpillar instead...Urgh. I much prefer getting coins since hate the ugly decorations.

Junior has a farm now and boy does he like to buy high and sell low. Sigh. It's fun watching him play and his style of playing is very interesting. His motto is the more wool he buys at full price the better. What a hoot.

Hi. Gosh I haven' been on here for so long to share and read misery package adventures. It's one of my fav thread, make me feel not so miserable when I receive a package. But now that John got a BRT, there's still hope....

Just a thought...but seeing as our BRT thread and table listing the copious amounts of the SAME MISERY ITEMS being 'won'...day-in-day-out is essentially being 'overlooked' by SC... I got to wondering...

Do you think it might be worthwhile posting a poll in the general section, about whether it is time for SC to offer some new deco/misery items for us to collect?

Its getting a bit old when you have tope after bike after gnome after tope after bike after bug after tope after bike after slug etc etc?

Just interested in hearing from those who are 'invested' in this aspect if the game.

Im pretty sure the majority of ALL players would love some change...any change...in misery prizes? (Eg, a new hat for the snail would be a start).

Would appreciate your thoughts...and a possible volunteer for the task if its a realistic suggestion?

I would say partially a good idea D.. My thoughts would be to get rid of the old Topes, (they are really naff) as they seem to have been in forever, and most people dislike them anyway. I can remember mentioning some nice new animated ones to aim for, like the windmill for e.g..

I would really like a night/day mode idea, with some sort of power generating machines to create enough electricity to maybe power-up the lights or speed some time up a few of the machines for a day or so.. A water wheel on the river, or wind turbines would both be functional, and look great..
