Slightly rushed th10 farming in champion league

I am currently a th9 farming in champion league with 220 archers. I have full Lego walls and all my splash defenses is upgraded. Everything in my lab is max except Valks. I'm thinking of upgrading to th10 and max out my archers to further my development in farming in champs. I will not upgrade any defenses past th9 max level, or any wall. I will not be placing down any new defenses either. So I will only be match-uped with th9s in war. But I will have th10 troops. The reason not to rush is the loot penalty, but the loot penalty does not matter in champions league. Any flaw in my reasoning? Any reason not to max out.

Its a great plan if war is your main objective in Clash, but you also need to think long term. Ask yourself, "Am I going to want to farm again?"
If you answer yes, it's probably best to sit at TH9 and max out, it will become so much more worthwhile in the long run.

May I ask what level your heroes are at?

It also depends on whether you are farming the league bonus only, are are you farming storages and league bonus?
If you are just farming league bonus, I would move on regardless, because like you said, the loot penalty doesnt affect the bonus.

I was planning on maxing out my th9 at th10 if that makes any sense. I've been farming the loot bonus and getting at least 50k a raid plus the bonus. Thats 230k of gold and elxir per raid at a minimum. That's a good haul in my opinion. Also, my heroes are at 18 for both queen and king

Its certainly a tricky topic, if you are set on staying in champ, id say go for it!

How do you farm the bonus ? 220 archers or barch ??

I use 220 archers. I think it is more efficient than Barch because you have more bases to pick from because you can shoot over walls
