I am a new to this game and has been playing for not even a week. I have experience with these types of games as I have played Modern War (pretty similar) up to level 100+. I read the entire CoC wiki so don't really lecture me on stuff. If I'm on the forum too late and I made too many mistakes tell me. Here is my base.

1. CC in middle
2. max base before you upgrade TH except collectors
3. Splash towers near supplies
4. DONT TRY TO PROTECT EVERYTHING
Very Nice. My advice is to take your town hall outside of your walls at your lvl trophies shouldn't matter too much. Besides that move your gold storage more centralized to stop archers picking it off. but great job and welcome to COC:D
looking good for a lv 12! try to max out everything before upgrading your town hall and you're good to go! Best of luck! :)
It looks like you may already doing this but, don't use gems on anything except builders, achievements and debris will get you to 4 in a reasonable amount of time if you don't squander them on build times or resources.
Get rid of all the trees/bushes and rocks so you can get more gems and so they can regrow. If they're 40 obstacles already in place more won't grow so you're missing out on potential free gems.
All of the above advices are great. Since you're low level, it's hard to protect your resources against attacks, my advice is try to attack as often as you can to offset your lost.
Ok, I don't want to start farming right now and putting my TH outside because #1 I am SICK of farming after I played modern war until the level 100s and #I win most raids anyways (for now) and I don't want a 12h shield blocking me. I have to start farming at level 20s anyways though. My gold storage on the top right is just bait as anyone can only take 1000 from it. I haven't built the cc yet but why does it have to be in the middle of the base. Doesn't it deploy troops donated?
