Right now, I have town hall level 7. I am trying to max out all the defensive buildings before i upgrade to TH8. But i have a question, do I have to upgrade collectors and mines or is it better to go to TH8 and upgrade them later?:confused:

I would worry more about maxing defenses and troops. Storages are ok too but mines are less important as you will make far more farming than you will ever mine.
Depends on how often you farm. If often, then they are less important than if you were inactive most of the time.Quote:

i would max them out i have maxed mines/collecters and i get about 250k every day which means i dont have to do 1-2 extra raids to get a upgrade
Don't worry about mines and collectors.
It's a matter of personal preference. Maxing everything out (including walls) will just make the transitioning much less overwhelming in my humble opinion.
To me, maxing everything is maxing everything. Personal preference, though, when it comes down to it.
I currently have 1 defensive upgrade left to do for TH7, then I have 3 barrack upgrades (8-8-8-9). All my gold mines are level 10 and all my elixir collectors are level 9. I have 35/175 purple walls. I'll be done with TH7 before June is up - and the fact of the matter is, a maxed base looks really cool, so I think it's worth it.
If u rely on the mines and collectors, I would go for it! I maxxed everything out for my Th lv 7 except for my mines and collectors.
I would max out the most important things to you. I maxed out my mines and camps before upgrading my town hall. I like full upgraded stuff
Once the payback period is over, fully upgraded mines and collectors are all gravy. Do as you like, but I would have recommended that you start maxing mines and collectors a month ago. Should it hold up an otherwise ready TH upgrade? Probably not. But then again, if you don't do it now, all the TH 8 toys will take your builders and resources away from it again, and in 3 months you'll be asking this question again with the TH9 upgrade looming.
