Just got to townhall 9

This is my first post in the forums here, and I'd just like to ask a few tips other people could share on their journey as an early townhall 9, from my experience, it's pretty hard, even being a maxed TH8 (except for walls).

So it's my second day being a townhall 9, where do you think I should farm with just TH8 troops?(I'm currently using Giant-Healer with Archers and heroes), as I've been having problems finding loot(and even getting loot) ever since i became a TH9. Aaand of course, TH10s and other TH9s would easily crush a TH8 base with a lot of loot. Any bases there to start off with?

I know I should focus on my Elixir upgrades, especially the camps

At the moment, I'm building 1 xbow, upgrading my queen, my lab and spell factory.


I'm sorry for having repeated such questions that I think were already answered before, but any tips you guys give might help a lot of people. Thank you for reading :D

Alright, thanks, I'll be using that soon, but atm, I'm desperate for gold and elixir, i think i'll be fine with a lvl10 king and maybe a lvl 2-5 queen while finishing all elix buildings, as they are my number 1 priority.

Oh and can anyone tell when will I be able to do wars again? Even though my clan understands, i want to join them ASAP

build all buildings before upgrading them so that they can all be placed in the war...

if you want to go to war, upgrade your army camps and troop levels first... upgrade also your castle as these will compose your army to war... defense buildings after castle upgrade...

a mid/high TH9 and all TH10s can destroy your buildings... so focus instead on your attack so you can give 2 or 3 more stars...

Yeah, I'm planning on getting the lvl6 giants for easier farming, then get the lvl6 loons to finally do actual attacks. and as I've said, I'm going for elixir buildings first, so it would be easier to manage resources soon after.

i just got to TH9 as well, maybe 3 weeks ago. the first weeks were brutal. i upgraded lab, spell, both xbows and queen right away. first research was barb 6, next loon 6.

i really just barched and hit next a ton. I was in crystal 3, and decided to drop down to gold 2 or lower. be prepared to hit next alot.

its hard to war and improve your base because once again elixir becomes very valuable. its also hard to get used to needed 6 million for research.

hang in there, its starting to get better for me.

i got my first real attack some hours ago, I got completely rekt by maxed troops. Even having maxed wiz in my cc didnt have much of an impact.

Gonna start my 2nd xbow tomorrow once the queen is done upgrading.

Any ideas on how to keep your queen from stupidly attacking walls? probably lost about a couple million possible loot because she keeps attacking walls.

The easiest way to get loot is collector raids. All the gold levels seem to bave good collector raids. Just keep hitting next until you find that 200k/200k base. A few of these an hour and voila 1,000,000 gold/elixir less your next fees and troop costs. Personally I use barbarians only they train fastest and are the cheapest. I made them my first TH9 upgrade.

Collector raids? Haven't found much of those lately, which league do they occur the most?
