Obviously a troll, and a bad troll, he quoted the "Under consideration" section and added it there, haha.

Spell donation is not an unreasonable idea, but it has a balance problem if it means you get an extra spell.
If not an extra spell, then what? You get to swap a spell? Would the idea be that you can access a spell you don't have, or a higher level spell?
Would the extra spell, or spell swap/upgrade, be instead of a certain number of troops in the clan castle, or in addition.
The problem is that there are so few spells, compared to troops, that spell donation could change the game too much.
Then it would be a TH8+ thing, and wouldn't be doable for most players from the start. Would still likely take a spell over most 25 housing units worth of troops. Spell slots are powerful. One extra one could easily throw off whatever balance SC tentatively has in this game.
The least OP way I've seen is not to give any extra spell slots, not be allowed to give spells the receiving person can't make on thier own, but can accept higher level spells than they can produce.
As for donation limits, I'm still not sure about. Allowing only one at a time might be restrictive (requiring using the spell before able to get another), but allowing as many donated spells as your Spell factory can hold could still be OP, as others (several bored players, not doing much, and too much Elixir on hand) can just premake them for someone and can have access to spells almost as fast as spamming the 'pay gems, finish now' button.
I was seriously asking if it would be too OP, however, you can't give somebody a Golem or a Lavahound until they have a fully upgraded CC at TH9, so if you made spells cost 30 troop spaces, and thus not be available until TH9, that would be fine, nobody says has to be available to low TH's. Then you have to ask yourself, 30 troops? or a spell? If that's still too OP, then no spell donations is fine by me, just trying to come up with a "viable and workable way" to donate spells, if people want them to be able to donate them.
Golem in a max level CC for a TH8, and Lavahound for a TH9
But anyway, I already gave a serious answer, which was, to paraphrase, 'Not sure, but quite likely OP'. Along with saying that it seemed like it would leave some players out that could realistically enjoy it at a sooner stage in the game.
