Perfect example of the phrase "Give them an inch and they take a mile" or something like that
they should charge players 500 gems or so per name change (after the free is used)
When I downloaded the game for first time it said: "choose a name for your village but think well because you can never change it, your villager would not remember where they live".
So I choose a name that I dont want to change.
But not everybody isnt that smart therefor SC provided the second chance to get a good name.
If any messes that opportunity up he should be rewarded with a fumbduck award
A 3rd name should cost 1200 gems. Stupidity should not be rewarded except with the fumbduck award
Should have thought about your name before you changed it.
Perfect example of this forum. They come up with an idea, someone disagrees, and they proceed to call the disagreeing party "stupid" or some other insult.
You are lucky they gave on name change. Don't push your luck.
Precisely. Microsoft has a similar set-up for their username changes.
That seems like a situation where everyone wins.
Surely a name change isn't too taxing on the vast technologically advanced system that SC currently utilizes?
Why wouldn't they leap at the opportunity of more gem purchases in-game?
You know, just cause you chose a stupid name, doesn't need we need to be greedy and get another one. If you don't like your name, YOU SHOULD HAVE NOT CHOSEN IT! You had to think up a name, type it, verify it... How do you not choose a good name.
Totally using this in my sig.
