There should be an option to automatically re-arm traps, Xbows, inferno towers and anything else that helps in defending, in case you were attacked twice while offline as some bases rely heavily on these kind of things. It would be awesome if it's possible to automatically request for clan units as well when they are killed.

No. The game is meant for you to play it, not for it to play itself. SC wants you to be online and playing it often, so it won't reset the traps for you. Just as how it won't do raids for you or collect your collectors for you. YOU have to play the game.If you miss out on that opportunity to rearm, that's your problem, not SC's.If you want to prevent it, throw your TH outside for a cheap shield, or buy a shield with gems.Nothing needs to be changed here.

Automatically re-arm trap it's not free. We have to pay gold for it, and by the way, it's quit expensive.
I support trap re-arm.
I button "trap auto re-arm ON/OFF" is welcomed.

Pretty much ruled out. Even my suggestion on something similar to this still likely skirts too close to being ruled out. Did it as a what-if challenge to see if it was doable. Came up with a supply hut with 'spare parts' (how many times it can reset before out) that have to be Pre bought, not refundable, and would cost more than if you reset them manually... which is the cost of convinces. The hut's appearance could show roughly how much is left in parts, giving people an idea on there maybe traps that were reset from the last raid or two before the player logged back on.
It still required people to be active in the game, because like the X-Bow and Inferno Tower, it could run out really fast, depending on what cup range you are in.
What incentive would I possible have to be SC's fanboy? Is there any particular reason you're being unnecessarily confrontational with me? I'm simply stating why auto re-arm goes against the game mechanics intended by SC, so they have decided not to implement auto re-arm, as it has been suggested for years now. If you stopped to think about it from a game developers perspective, it makes sense not to implement this. Not only that, from an offensive players perspective, this suggestion is undesirable. As it has been established on many occasions, this game is offensively skewed, so by keeping re-arms manual, they are keeping more players online for longer, AND they are satisfying the greater population. How hard can it be.... you get a message that you are under attack. You log on(watch how you get attacked) reset traps and log off again if you dont have time to play.
Not that hard and totally nottime consuming

Would at least help reduce the trained behavior of obsessively checking things 'right now' that I can easily see happening with most people, especially with teenagers
