I don't know, but I saw a conversation of the same subject and people said that it was either 20 minutes or when people in the clan have talked so much that the joining request has disappeared from there... Just guesses though.
Sometimes it takes me 5mins and sometimes it takes me 20mins. Pretty weird though the difference between the times.
It has been 4 hours...
