I would like to share my idea of having Village Bank wherein you can deposit and withdraw your resources so you can keep your loots since this is an investments it may cost you gems. Village bank can be upgrade as well for bigger capacity. It's like a storage but it can't be loot by your attackers and you can get the specific amount of elix or gold that you need same goes with deposit. This may help others to keep their resources from attackers.
How much loot can it store at max level? If it's high, all raids will have a dramatic decrease in loot
I think that this is a good idea. Supercell will jump at any opportunity to allow players to spend more gems and I think that a bank would address the farming problem.. if there was a bank people would be less likely to farm to protect their resources.
The main question is: How much loot should you be allowed to store in the bank?
My only fear is that it will be much harder to find an opponent with a lot of loot as an attacker.

It already exists.
It's called the Gold Storage, Elixir Storage, and Dark Elixir Storage.

You raid, you get raided, this goes counter to the whole point of the game.
Impossible idea because this idea make loot in raiding decrase or you can have a base with 0000 loot

This removes the entire point of the game... This is a war game, build armies, raid your opponents.....If you want to farm resourses and not have them taken away........ That's a different game....

Well you guys made sense but still they wanted to improve the game so more upgrades more fun. :) it's really up to them anyway. Like air sweeper it does make sense however it really doesnt help the game at all I mean it somehow does but not really.Quote:

Glad we agree. Pretty much with you on 'it's true, it isn't a good excuse to keep doing it, and it is what the current system encourages'. We can't blame the players for doing what normal people would do. Just when amplified to the scale of this game, that behavior doesn't lend well to the main gameplay goal of CoC.Quote:

OK, the assumption that a newbie will have is that their defence will fight off most of the raiders that are after their resources, not too much unlike a Tower Defence game. However, they are so sorely mistaken at the magnitude of how incorrect that is. In a Tower Defence game, you get resource rewards for fighting off enemies, here you get rewards for being the attacker. In TD, you are often just a step or two ahead of the suicidally stupid enemies washing up against your defence, here you are often several steps behind the enemy attacking you and they are far from stupid most times. The intended reward for a good defence is trophy points, but that doesn't help buy you that next upgrade you are wanting. If anything, it becomes a liability for a good part of the beginning half of gameplay.
So there is more than one level of messed up here. Defence is costly. Either you lose cups or lose loot, and given how too many trophy points can cause you problems, then yeah, why wouldn't you let someone 'take out the garbage' for you, and also give you a Shield to boot!
Attack side is just as bad. It is just too lucrative to not attack weaker bases with inexpensive troops. But this makes gameplay suffer as well. It helps cause the defence problem stated above, and also gives players the wrong expectations on in-game rewards. You are playing the slot machine if you farm. Hit next... next... next... OH! Payout! Abandoned base with max loot in easy to get resource buildings!.. next... next... Awesome! Lower TH level base that's loaded!! :facepalm: No.. No-no-no-no-NO! That is horrible for gameplay! Minimal effort for max rewards?! Surprised this game is even going with a problem like this. Supercell is doing a fantastic job and making this limp along. No sarcasm, I am impressed. They are making a lead balloon actually fly! (BTW, it is doable IRL) They earned that paycheck for pulling off a miracle on a regular bases. If I would rate the gameplay... huh.. :saywhat: you don't want to hear how I'd rate gameplay. :( (you can already guess what it would be anyway by now)
So yeah... CoC 'has some issues'. You have a punitive defence experience, and bland, addictive, sugar-rush-like, chore-like resource raiding experience, with Clan Wars helping keep things together. But apparently this changes when you are mid TH9 or higher... or there abouts.
This is why we have messed up features. You can't make a revenge system work well in that environment. Believe me, I'd have some insight! Check my signiture, I am not lying, I do it often, and after TH7, often stinks! My thrilling near or total base destruction on my higher level attackers, all but gone after the Town Hall upgrade. I want that back! :mad:* But I can't downgrade back down. Maybe I'll find something like that again when upgradjng one or two more times... but I'm not holding my breath.
