Info

What is it?
Forum War Heroes is a new forum event, where a clan of forumers compete for points, which are gained in war by successfully attacking, and defending. And actually even just helping out!

When is it?
We well be opening the clan on Sat July 4. The first war will be just after a new season starts, on Mon July 6.

There will be a total of 5 wars, non stop, and the last war will end on Tue July 14. On the Wednesday, everyone will get co to send goodbye clan mails, and the clan will be closed on Sun July 19.

How will the event be run?
The event leader will be me (IGN: Smasher).

All permanent members will have at least elder, while a select few will have co leader.

Joining the clan
There was going to be a password, but that idea has been dropped, as it is no longer needed. There will be instructions on how to join in your reminder PMs.

If you don't sign up before the event has started, don't worry! There is still a chance of getting in! Sign up as normal on this thread, and if there is space I will PM you to tell you that you can join straight away. If there is no space, I will add you to the waiting list.

Whether or not you have signed up, you can always come to visit! Say the word "visit" in your request to join, along with your forum name!
NOTE: Visitors can not be promoted and must leave after a while (unless allowed to stay for longer).

Scoring System

-3 points for every unused attack
-1 point for every star scored against you
2 points for every war you participate in which is won
2 points for every successful defence
1 point for being the MVP of the war (decided by leader)

Points for attacks:

1 point for every new star. 1 bonus point for 3 star attack. Another bonus point for a 3 star attack on your town hall or higher.
-1 point for every town hall the enemy town hall is below yours. Eg, you are th10 and 1 star a th8, that's 1+-2=-1 points :eek:

no fear, I'm doing the lego-to-lava (74 done) and heroes (17/24) and even if it's weighted more now, it's not a biggie, 2 IT and a 3rd XB still outweigh everything alse by a ton.

been thinking about the fairness in the event, TH10 will have less threestarring against them than say a TH7/8, but then the lower TH have a greater chance of three starring their opponent, all good, I'd say, unless TH10 start three starring TH9 will need a rule for that....

In the event info it says the clan will be open on Saturday July 3.... but July 3rd is a Friday.

hey smasher... great idea. i'd be interested in joining but how are attacks going to be coordinated? will you be running clashcaller and how will you divide the clans in terms of town-hall level, assuming we get enough for multiple clans?

the reason i ask is because i was part of forum elite around xmas and while there were lots of strong attackers, targets were being poached left, right & center which made for an extremely frustrating time to rebuild troops & spells. this doesn't really apply to th8 & lower but the th9 & 10s would benefit a lot from some sort of target calling system
