it looks odd to have a coin floating in the air above a storage

edit:
OK maybe not totally remove it but at least change it so that it is not floating any more like this :

Why are you so distracted by that little floating coin? If it was to be removed, then what kind of Storage will that be? Gem Storage? Gold Storage? Tree Storage?
It is not floating, it’s the top coin of a column of coins and the rest of the column is hidden by shadow.
Obviously, the edges of every coin in the clash world are coated with a magnetic strip, so the gold can more easily be carted around the ley lines. The magnetic strips around the gold coins draw them to each other, hence, the overflowing gold coins spilling out of the top of the storage but none of them are on the ground. That is because they stick to each other. The gold storages are made of metal. Magnets are attracted to metal. Therefore, when there is one gold coin in the storage, it gets stuck to the side. It is not actually floating, it is magnetically attached to the corner of the box. Also, it would be slightly unsettling for some players if the graphic were to be abruptly changed to something so different. The graphic you have suggested looks like a middle ground between slightly full and empty, it isn't obviously Emory enough. Players would be confused.
I like it!
That's always bugged me too. It is a sprite artifact caused by just putting the level 1 Gold Storage's coin level on top of progressively taller Gold Storage buildings. Since it is built for the first level, it looks more and more off as it literally levels up
That and especially the staged fullness graphics for everything glares at me at times. At least put markers on the bar showing how full something really is, so you have an idea how much there is when seeing something partly full.
And I thought that the Vaults have a glass bottom, much more important is the question... Why does it shows as if there is elixer in my tanks after I spend gems to get enough elixer to upgrade. It says 0 elixer and yet in my tanks is a bit on the bottom
Why are you all distracted/bugged about those things? Those things just represent what kind of Storage it is. The single floating Gold coin, the small amount of Elixir in an empty Storage, the same small amount of DE in the empty Storage; they all represent what kind of resource building it is.
