I have now started using gowipe instead of all dragons since it is more effective. The problem is, I'm rusty on using them. Any tips on what I should do?

What TH level are you, what troop levels, spell levels, hero levels, troop space do you have? Give some more info please.;)
I used to GoWiPe, and GoWiWiPe all the time successfully as a TH8
Personally, I gave up on GO-WiPe after watching the "GO-WiPe Rut" video from OneHive. I realized it was a two star strategy, and two stars do not win wars.
However, if you have your heart set on the strategy, here are a few tips.
1. Learn from your mistakes. Plan to fail, it happens. Study your replays and see what you did wrong.
2. Ask higher leveled members in your clan. This always helps me regardless of what strategy I'm using. It's good to see someone else's perspective on the strategy.
In Raid Strategies:
1. Always use wizards to create a funnel so that your Pekkas do not go around.
2. Keep damage dealing units behind the golems at all times, including heroes.
3. If you're going for three stars, manage your time. You will often find that GO-WiPe will easily run time due to the slow moving units.
4. ALWAYS lure the clan castle, your Pekkas will easily get distracted by clan castle units that will take them 5-10 seconds to take care of, and your raid could go downhill in the same amount of time.
