Clan Attack Hall of Fame

Our clan has a history similar to most out there. Remember that time where you needed to pull one star from that top TH10 to win a war. And some lowly TH7 in your clan barched it to a 1 star victory against all odds? What about that time you needed to 3 star a top base for victory and one of your members fumbled his way to 100% using hogs for the very first time.

Yeah, we all have stories like that. And it's a shame we can't revisit those attacks all the time. It would be awesome to see those attacks a year later and remember both how awesome it was and how much we've improved in the meantime.

So I propose a Clan Attack Hall of Fame (and possibly of Failure). Each clan would have the ability to store 10 war attacks and rank them accordingly. Leaders can flag an attack to move it to the HOF list. Then the list could be ranked similarly to ranking your Netflix DVD queue. Also, you could have a separate list for your Hall of Failure. I would love to be able to show new players where I started so they can see we all have the ability to improve.

Some clans may decide to use one of the lists as a training tool instead. They may choose to save a replay showing the basics of CC luring or funneling. That would be fine too.

I understand the technical problems this causes Supercell at the moment. Replays are not stored as videos. As best I can tell, replays are actually stored as some type of series of data points that, when they are replayed, run through the game engine again. This is why you can't watch replays after a maintenance update. With the game engine changing the result of the replays change as well. Bottom line, allowing every clan in the game to store up to 20 replays as they actually happened would require a crud-ton of server space. But those guys are much smarter than me so maybe they can find a way to find a storage-economical way to do it?

Anyways, there's my idea. I thought it would be cool for us to be able to easily maintain our clan history as it happens.

I understand where you a re coming from, I think having a hall of fame for epic attacks that would be nice to look back at. I've had many wars where we would be down by 2 stars and a th8-9 was left standing so one of our brave souls tries his best and gets the last few stars in order to win.. It's always great to see something like that
