As much as I hate zapping, it's a strategy. Doesn't take much skill, but it's a strategy. I have a full maxed out town hall 9 and am halfway done with walls to lava. As I farm down in gold 1-2, I am facing lower level people. If that's what they need to do to get 1000-1600 DE, then so be it. Learn to live with it, it's going to happen...
Guys chill. I was just wondering what other people thought about this, because some people on the forums really hate zapping. I personly don't like it to get zapped, but I understand that it is a part of Clash of Clans. This thread is NOT me asking Supercell to do something about zapping.
I would say No.
A while back I did think yes but I have since changed my mind on this and here is why...
Zapping might suck but think of all the players who got where they are and got some of their DE to make their heroes and upgrades by Zapping.
So now newer players moving up to TH7 or 8 etc... Will not be able to get DE by using a choice of 2 strategies of either full on attacks or zapping or a combination of both. Doesn't seem right at this point to make this kind of change. "It's part of the game" as it has been said so many times.
I certainly hope SC will not change this or they need to have some solution to the newer players to improve DE collection to compensate for this tactical loss.

Yes of course... when you need to farm 150 thousand de for heroes, you are in fact using that de, and some stupid th7 dropping 3 pathetic lightning spells is just cheap, they get 2k de for no effort. And sure I could 3* there whole village and get what, like 200 de in return, thats pointless... Thank you supercell for fixing this issue.
EVERYONE can stop whining and crying about getting zapped now. The update fixes the zap problem....now all the zap threads will be for the pansy attackers with no skill whining that they cant get DE from high level players...DUH!!! There is a reason for that..look at it logically. When you were 12 would you be able to take a college div 1 senior on at basketball and win? " the only thing I can do is zap them " then get better at attacking. You really want revenge? go up in league get attacked, drop about 400 trophies then revenge them for 59 cups with a 1 star. SO all the new "zap threads" will be "Bring back zapping" from this point forward...ironic isn't it.
The problem with your analogy is the college div 1 senior is not permitted to go play against 12 year olds in the local recreation basketball league. With this update there will be nothing to discourage TH9s from dropping down to Gold & Silver and absolutely wrecking all the TH7s and TH8s. What recourse will those lower level players have? There will be nothing they can do to make back a fraction of the resources they lose when they get completely wrecked by a higher TH player.Quote:

Well th9's rarely attack th7's because of the loot penalty, and they are swamped just as much by th10s as th8s are by th9s, you'll learn once you hit th9. Th8s shouldnt have a tough time revenging th9s as well, there are plenty of viable attacks out there if you really feel the need.
