Phones are like $100, you could even try installing on a different device / friends phone (that is the same). Supercell will have a very limited ability to help you here which is probably why you feel as though they've done nothing. Despite it purportedly being caused by their update, it will ultimately LIKELY be an issue on your end.

I said, all of my Android devices are having the same issue ( right after the update). SC changed the internet ports needed by the game without letting us know. That's the only explanation. What are the chances that many Android users started having the same issue right after the update? As a software engineer, I can tell with 99% confidence that the hardware is not the issue!!

You missed the whole point of the thread.. It is about the horrible customer support, not priorities ( nor how to fix the issue as I can still play using 3G).

It is the same exact issue. The optional update solved the issue for many players, but there are still few more ( Including myself) suffering for the infinite loading screen. The worst part is that SC is denying their responsibility( in the emails I receive). A simple acknowledgment of the issue, and a promess to solve it in the future is all what i was hopping for. Instead, the customer support team throwed everything on me ...that's the saddest part

So you demand more and better customer service over the free players asking inappropriate bases to be suspended? How egalitarian.

Besides they don't need to provide any customer service beyond some pre-written boilerplate, they have your money and you can't get it back.

what do they mean that they are not responsible? this is their game they must be responsible if something goes wrong... And not telling everyone something is wrong with the device. note this problem started after the air sweeper update!!

Yeap..trying to convince us that many devices/ISPs started having problems right after the air sweeper update. What a joke SC!!

I have the same problem. After the air sweeper update I cannot play properly using wifi (which I prefer to use than 3G because its more stable) though 3G (mobile data) is fine. I always get the low/weak connection sign 5 seconds after logging in in the game. I once resolved the issue by uninstalling and re-installing the game, but after a few hours, the problem is back again. I hope SC will resolve this issue because I don't want to uninstall and re-install the game every time I want to play.
