Am I to weak for my trophy range?

I am town level 7 and I'm at 1591 trophies. I seem to have troubles defeating any bases without using a healer and any base that I do defeat with a healer is one that I have cherry picked because of poor air defense placement.

My troops are all maxed at townhouse 7, my rage and lightning spells are both maxed.

I usually attack with a combo of 40 barbarians/60 archers/40 goblins/8 giants/10 wallbreakers or so. I do awful with that combination.

Once I change it up to a healer and 16 giants with 10-12 wallbreakers and 80 archers ( or 40 archers 40 goblins) I do really well but the bases have to be cherry picked for poor anti air placement.

I keep running into level 8-10 bases and the odd level 7.

Do I need to drop town into a lower trophy range or do I just suck?

Dude why do you want to be at 1600 trophies drop down 400 and you will have the exact amount of loot. Unless your clans having a trophy run.

Im in town hall 7 maxed for farming and i stay at 950-1200 trophy and i farm with healer.I get very good ammount of resourses,try this range of trophy 1600 is very high for farming.

If you're doing trophy pushing it's fine, gotta pick those bases with weak defenses. If farming, must drop down around 1000-1200 range and get those goodies!

If you are farming, you are up to high in trophies. You will find better loot at around 1200 trophies.

I think everyone picks their target carefully.

I am in a similar position as you, except I raid with one dragon as well, so a bit less of each of the troops you use.

I find it a bit more difficult raiding just below 1600 trophies, but I stick it out for DE farming (not as much DE around the 1200 trophy range). I'm pretty patient and probably click 20-30 next buttons before I find a TH7 or 8 base I want to raid that has fairly weak or poorly positioned air defenses. At this trophy range I will also come across a few TH9/10 bases with over 2000 DE in their storages which I will sometimes spam a triple lightning and walk away with 1000-1200 DE.

It is tougher to farm here, but can be done. I'm not very good at it either and I make due.

If you want an easier time and more plentiful gold and elixir (not DE though) then you should drop back down to 1200-1300 range.

I have th7 too and in mid 1500 trohpy range but i only use 11 giants 45 gobs 50 arch and barb and ussually win. maybe its bases your trying to attack? Go for easier bases.

I'm a farmer with lv7 town hall. I get a lot of loot around 1200 trophies. For a lv7 town hall is 1400 already a lot. But if you go for trophies go as high as you can. Just max your base first. Also, use more giants. At that level, 8 giants are bad. Even 12 die quickly for me.

When I was at th 7 I was at rougly 1300 trophies. I had no trouble with winning battles

1000 - 1200 is really good resource range. But again, as mentioned if you are going for trophies then you're doing fine for th7. I love using healer giant in the 1200 range and It's super easy to crush it.
