Should I upgrade my barb king to level 2(12,500 DE) or my minions to level 2(10,000 DE)?
Stat Differences:
Minion(5 days to upgrade)
DPS: 35->38
HP: 55->60
Cost: 6 DE->7 DE
Barb King(12 hours)
DPS: 150->156
HP: 1500->1560
Regen time: 60->64 min
I use about 20 minions each raid, and i use my barb king when i need a little bit to get to 50%
btw im town hall 7, 8 in a few weeks
Since you use quite a few minions, I'd say upgrade them for sure.
Barb king is a better choice, the change is barely noticeable for both minion and bk but bk is better long run. Keeps your lab free too!
if you use so much minions, you shoud upgrade your minions.
I guess it depends on if you use minions or not.
I use minions now and then but I upgraded BK to 2 before minions to 2.
Whatever you think will be more useful in the long run. :)

Id say barb king because he is used more often (defence + Attack)
I only use barb king to clean up outside buildings in order to get 50%... Upgrade your minions, or save up for the archer queen
Upgrade your BK first
Upgrading him helps your defense AND offensive
while upgrading minions only helps you offensively
I'd personally go w/ the BK.
Mine @ a lowly L6 sleeps for 80 mins w/ 182 DPS & 1825 HP,
making him a fairly effective meat shield w/ a tolerable regen time.
I am yet to start a single Dark Troop upgrade simply because I do not use them in my raids.
I might, once I get my AQ up to L6 - and even so, I'm starting w/ the Valk upgrade first.

Go for your BK and do minions after, If your at TH8 then 10k DE is easy to get for the minion upgrade.
