more TH looting/defensive win loot bonus

ok so I've been reading some good ideas and would like to combine them and refine them with my own. It's been a bit tough lately to find good loot, so I propose that one way to generate more available loot would be to add to what you can loot from the TH, similar to the cc. I also want to combine this with other ideas of earning loot from defensive wins. Here's how it could work:

At TH10, you can loot 50k just from the TH (instead of 1k) but you also get an additional 50k storage - so max storage will now be 8,050,000 instead of 8,001,000. Each TH will have more additional storage/amount to loot so it could be something like this:
TH6: 2k
TH7: 5k
TH8: 10k
TH9: 25k
TH10: 50k
This could limit some people from leaving their TH outside, but you will need to decide if it's worth losing 50k to "protect" 400k.

Ok so here's the other interesting part that generates even more loot for everyone. For every person that passes on your base when searching, you get the gold it costs that person to search (if a TH10 passes on your base, YOU get the 1k gold). This will go into the TH "storage" (similar to the cc storage) In addition, if you get attacked and win, YOU earn the league bonus you are in which will also go into the TH storage. This helps offset the loss of resources and it will also be nice to know how many people pass on your base while earning a little extra cash. This loot in your TH storage is also lootable when getting raided. At TH10, you will be able to store 1 million inside the TH. When you are raided, attackers can loot 10% of this ON TOP of the 50k if you destroy the TH.

I think this is a great way to generate more available loot when attacking, and also helps you earn additional loot on defenses. They also balance each other out. The additional looting of the TH creates more of an emphasis on destroying it (as opposed to just 1 star) and creates more options for players. I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on this and if they have any suggestions for improvements. I really think this could add a lot to the game. More options, more loot, everyone's happy.

I don't think that having more loot in the town hall would be a good idea, and it could ruin farming.

The nexting idea is ruled out.

I don't think it would ruin farming. 50k isn't THAT significant if you're protecting 400k. And that is offset by the fact that you could potentially earn an extra 50k (or more) each raid so you would still earn more than you lose in the long run.

I did read that sticky but thought they might reconsider given that it would be lootable when getting raided, just like the cc storage. Again, the intent is to create more available loot when raiding, not just to get freebies from people nexting. I do like the concept of your idea too but I think realistically it makes more sense to put that inside a TH storage instead of just an invisible "pot of gold."

I believe this perfectly sums up my feeling of this thread.

Actually, my post was intelligent. Basicly saying this is not a good idea to bring up because of possible flaming. And the Nexting bonus is about the only issue I'm not worried about here.

Awhile back I made a thread, Stop with the Exposed Town Hall Attacks warning about bring up such issues, since they almost always end in arguments, insults, drama, and bitter feelings. Ironicly, later on in that thread, I misspoke something, and got flamed for the exact thing I had the thread warn others about.

Anyway, that's all I'm adding. Last thread on this that I was in ended really badly. (mostly due to OP over stubbornness)

interesting. I don't have time to read that whole thread but I have no personal issues with anything you wrote in your initial post in that thread. I don't really understand why there's been such a big argument over exposed THs and honestly don't want to start another argument (let people play the way they want, and you play the way you want), my only intent for this idea is to generate more loot to earn for everyone and add some additional strategy to the game. again, I really don't think increasing the TH loot loss from 1k up to 50k will dissuade people from leaving their TH exposed (nor would I want it to). And when I've read people's suggestions of earning loot from defensive wins, I ran with it and expanded upon it. I think something like this could encourage less exposed THs simply by adding additional incentives for defensive wins, but also wouldn't discourage it if that's how you prefer to play.

Just glad you understand where I'm coming from. :) And the first post on that thread I linked is basicly all that really needs to be checked out in regards to my consern with this thread.

The reasons for the drama is a mix of logic, emotion, and fatigue. :straightface: Logically (which is stated in detail in the thread) most people don't see any good viable way to play. Emotionally... well, do I need to say the obvious? :p People get ticked off from losing, and even more so when it hardly seems far at all. And then there is just fatigue of regulars here seeing 'yet another thread about... <old topic>' brought up by another new person.

It really isn't anyone's fault. Things just are setup that way, unintentionally, and is very prone to causing conflict. Almost everyone here wants to help, but there are two drastically different points of view between the two groups.

This is why I have the Newbie Catch in my signiture, since 'spammy ruled out threads' basicly start the issue, and that idea 'catches' it at it's easiest point.

And no problem on not realizing right off what I meant. Text is so easy to misread implied intentions and tone of voice. Just really glad it was figured out quickly, rather than later.

... That's basicly it. Wanted to get the warning out and hopefully save people the drama. I trust that you can navigate the 'minefield' from here. Good luck.

Stop right there its been tough to find loot ........... your in the wrong league i have a a th7 th8 and th9 account all in theit rerspective places each raid is 100k plus of each

your sliding scale would mean an adjustment to mines and drills higher in reverse to compensate

My TH has been outside since TH 1 if i had to start at TH1 again on this wacky idea i would stop playing before it got intersting..... every farmer reading this revenge another farmer with a shield.

I choose to leave my TH out as i want to protect my resources not my trophies i dont need trophies to feel special.

so you by pass a rushed premmie or low base with nothing worth raiding and they get rewarded thats inane and insane

@crushedhab: hahahahaha that's a good one. 100k / raid is good loot? that doesn't even cover the cost of finding a decent raid sometimes. I typically find loot for 200-300k. The point is to create opportunities to potentially earn more. I'm not sure what you mean - why would drilles & mines need to be scaled down to compensate? that makes no sense. also I will repeat - losing more from the TH in no way deters you from leaving it out. You may lose 50k (at TH10), but you will also earn 50k every time you destroy a TH so you should still be earning more than you lose.

Dude.. :confused: What's your problem?

For one, it is still an open thread (if you even meant that). And two, the first post has a lot of stuff that is still relavent and linking that saves me typing stuff all over again, and spamming here with copies of it. Lastly, I don't care if people don't post. I'm just citing a thread that I made specifically for stuff like this.

So if you have a problem with me either

• Reducing spam
• Saving time and effort
• Attempting to prevent drama

then stop with the unhelpful criticism.

well let's see. First, if you're anything like the average player I would expect you to get in at least a few raids per session, and probably more. At minimum you would earn an additional 50k per TH you destroy, plus anything extra that is in there per my original suggestion. Assuming you "clear" (loot) anything you have in your own TH, the most you would lose when getting attacked is an additional 50k. You may even be lucky enough to earn loot from winning a defense. So yea you have the potential to earn way more than you lose. Seems pretty obvious, no?
