Stop buying Gems until Supercell fixes AQ & BK upgrades for CW

I don't think they should. You should have to buy gems or sit wars out/learn to war without them by attacking lower. People are to entitled in this game it shouldn't be completely free certain things should have to be paid for. I always gem hero build time and will continue to do so because I don't like not having them.

If SC wanted it done badly enough, they would find a way to make this work. I refuse to believe that they truly can't find a way to do this in an economical way. I feel like this is in the same camp as loot changes have been in the past. They CAN do it, they are very reluctant to do so (for good reason from their perspective), but they eventually will when pressure on them raises to a level where they must act. I think it will be done eventually, and the best thing that we can do is keep asking for it, provide alternative ideas/compromises, and making strong arguments about why it's needed.

Come on, get real. How often have you contiplated gemming walls? That thought has never crossed my mind. Maybe a handful of top level guys gemming zap walls just to be finished with it but i doubt theres as many doing that versus gemming heroes early for war.

Yeah, I believe that.

Seems like SC tried one way, decided it was too difficult at the time due to other priorities and put it on the back-burner.

If we keep pushing the case and provide sensible solutions we may finally get some action.

We can’t provide solutions. This thread is not about solutions, it’s about a change in game play. All these threads achieve, is to serve notice on SC that portion of users want change. Please don’t mislead the forum by suggesting otherwise.

Anyone that thinks they know a solution either works or recently worked for SC (to have legimate access to corporate knowledge), has reversed engineered major parts of the game and/or broken into the games-servers (to have illicit access to corporare knowledge) or is deluded (in most cases by their limited knowledge from school assigments).

If you think it’s easy to change a working system, explain why the recent update allowing name changes failed miserably for so many users. And don’t blame incompetance.

What happened with the name change? I never saw it failing miserably. Unless you count people changing their names and regretting it :facepalm:

A number of Android users were locked out after the air sweeper update because the app couldn’t cope with certain characters or emoji in clan chat, clan description or clan mail.

Oh that, ok. Thought you were specifically referring to changing names. Yeah, that was bad, but most updates don't go badly like that. They've had many updates, they all end up working out whether they've got small problems or big ones. I don't see why changing the way hero upgrading works would be any different of a challenge than all the other things they've done.
