Hello, I would like to know how you would attack this war base I just made. I tried to make it funnel everything away from the TH and into the BK. Also, I tried to make the cc unlurable (duh) and I tried making it anti lavaloon.

With your 2 Double Giant Bombs and the heroes in the centre, it should work well against hogs. Don´t know why stevie has the opposite opinion. The upper DGB is between 3 defences, and the hogs favorite target are defences. The other DGB is next to the TH, also fine, if a number of Hogs survive the upper DGB, this one will kill them. A hypothetical attacker will have the asusmption that a DGB is next to the TH, but he cannot be sure where exactly it is, because he can´t see the Teslas until they pop up.
Give it a try! Perhaps it´s not that good against gowipe/gowiva/gowiwi, but it seems to be a solid base against Air-attacks
ya, bad dgb. the pathing is wrong.
ok a bit of explanation. The top dgb can by singly triggered and overcome by one heal which the attacker needs any way due to the WT and Xbow. The bottom dgb err is like a single giant bomb cuz one of the gb is unlikely to explode.
errr. actually the top dgb gets triggered during the AQ kill so you are only left with the ♥♥♥♥ dgb near the th...
The DGBs aren't that bad, but they'll deter an average hogger. An expert hogger will take them out, but an expert hogger can usually do that with any TH9 base.Quote:

If you're trying to prevent a 2* against an average attacker, this base will do okay. If you are trying to prevent 3* against good attackers, center the queen and offset the TH in your core. Make an attacker bring a jump spell and break all the way into the core of your base to get your queen. It can still be beat but it will be a tough 3*.

And you barely can afford to use 6-8 Hogs only for triggering a trap when your attack is Hog-based. Also using a Heal-Spell(which is the most important factor for a Hog-attack imo) just for triggering a trap means an obvious disadvantage for the attacker.
Best is, to give it a try! The best thing to find out if a base is good or not, is to test it. The reaction in my Clan for the War-Base I have at the moment was similiar like here now. Mostly they said something like "I would 3 star you even with Giant/Wizards" "Easy 3-star for Air attackers!" and so on...
What the last 10 Wars with this base design told me(mid to max TH 8 now): Mass-Dragons mostly end with 1 star, rarely with 2 and only once with 3 stars(but it was a TH 10 with lv 4 Drags, king and Queen), Hogs also end with 1-2stars... But it´s vulnerable against Gowipe/Gowiva, but strangely only the fewest tried it, until now 80% tried it with Dragons, 15% with Hogs...
So, take your base to war, you´ll learn with every Replay where the weak spots are and how you can put your traps/buildings to improve it :)
Its funny you say that. An expert hogger probably would use the 6-8 hogs and a heal along with a giant and remove that trap. Otherwise that trap would get triggered during the cold-blooded/shattered portion of the attack.Quote:

If I may add my input in, you have to make it so your DGB a place where your hogs HAVE to go through. It has to be two isolated defenses that have DGB in between them. Also you need to make it extremely deep inside your base so good Attackers can't trip it beforehand. If you will take my IRL example, it has to be sort of like where and how Constantinople/Istanbul is geographically put. Connects east to west, and Istanbul is the DGB, the connecting point which destroyes the hogs trying to go through it.
If you are not in a really high level, competitive clan, this base is great. Most people cannot even 2 star this base. However, against a hardcore war clan, expect this base to be easily 3 starred with shattered lava loon. In your newest version, you still haven't fixed the fact that with a golem, heroes, and wizards, you can easily take out the upper two air defenses.

There's still a big chance that your giant bombs would get triggered one at a time and only a small chance that they will get triggered both at the same time. Also, coming from the northeastern side, the attacker could get two air defenses during the queen kill.Quote:
