Clan War opt in/opt out: third option

I don't know whether this has already been suggested, but my clan mates and I would like a third option when opting in and out of war.

When I opt out of war, usually I could fight in the war if we need an extra one to make up the numbers to a round 5. But sometimes I really want out as I'm going to be away on battle day or something like that.

Therefore we could really use another option (yellow maybe) which means "out, but can be put in if needed". Then my intentions are clear and I don't need to clog up the clan chat with this info which the leader might not see anyway.

I'm leader of a 50 person clan. We have a LOT of guys in this situation. I have to keep track personally of who to put in wars since we do lots of wars without the entire clan.

Out of all the ♥♥♥♥ that gets posted here, finally something sensible and useful. I've been in the same situation, having to add someone who is out so others can be in too, and having to guess at who is out but will show if needed.

Asked about this before, on another thread that wanted a third option for something else, and got a lot of negative feedback on it.

Anyway, yea, I agree, please, add it. I need to know who my flexible people are without having to memorize all the names. Though, I put it as "Opt in, but can be out of war if need be"... Same net effect.

It is, in the clan member list. The colour of your shield denotes your war status.

Opt in/out is visable, isn't it? :saywhat: Could have sworn it was shown on the clan's profile, listing people. Or is that only a Leader and Co-Leader thing?
