I'm training 1 barrack with 5 giants and archers, the 3 others with lvl 5 bloons and my dark barracks making hogs and minions. Makes for an easy 3 star of th7 and pretty good vs th8.

Straight balloonion for me. 20 lv 6 loons and 60 lv 4 minions are 100 percenting every loaded th 8 and th 9 base I attack. Hardly using any spells either. Just picking the right base with poor AD placement or under leveled ADs makes it so spell use not needed. I'm farming tons of all 3 resources.

Still the most efficient farming/pushing army for me in champs th9
For farming I prefer using army comps that cost no dark elixir. Giants are a good idea, other barracks usually have barbs/arch. Keep it simple, once you get good at it, you'll have no prob farming higher level bases as you become more experienced.
Either Giant healer or barch, best farmīng strats I wreckon.
Balloonion with 24 loons, 40 minions. Picking up 300k+ G&E, 500+ DE per raid.
