2 and 3 star help

I am a pretty good attacker. I average 2 or 3 stars against TH8s and 9s in multiplayer. When it comes to clan wars I'm lucky if I get 2 stars. A am number 5 in a 10 man war, and we always drop 1 spot. This means I'm 1 staring 6 spots which is not good for me. I usually attack with max balloons along with minions level 4 or sometimes level 5 wizards instead. Otherwise, I attack with level 3 dragons which is usually 2 stars.

My troops and levels are below, and if I could have advice on troop combinations or upgrades to get more 2 or 3 stars.

People can kind of tell what I use more by the level of my troops.

The ease of the mass drag has got you in its trap!

Start to upgrade the troops that matter for war. You look like a rushed TH9 based on those troop levels so you should get working on 'em.

Upgrade the PEKKA first and you can begin to 2 star TH9s pretty easily with the GoWiPe.

Get your royals up to at least 10 a piece then start upgrading your hogs (I personally like the GoHo!)

If you want for now you might be able to get away with a DraLoon attack on TH9s if done correctly but it will cost a lot.

Accually I didnt rush I had everything upgraded for TH8 except troops and the king.

Better would have been if you also had maxed the war-important troops when you´ve been a TH 8.

Get your Hogs to min lv 4. Hogs are a very powerful troop, and as soon as you get used to them a safe 3-star strategy for TH 8 and with lv 5 Hogs also for TH 9.

Get your Pekka to level 3, your Giants to 6 and Wallbreakers to 5,also your Heal-Spell to 5.

I can understand why you where fixed on Air-troops, but there are a lot "Anti-Air" base designs, so you should train on your ground-troops, too.

Search in the Forum for Hog-strategies, Gowipe, Gowiva for example, that would be 3 solid strategies you could learn. It´s always good to be used to a variety of strategies, because for every base-design another technique fits best.
