Matchmaking is killing the game

I wrote a big reply to this and then deleted it. You are right oh narcissist Prince, and it's too much effort to itemise through the reams of ♥♥ and contradictions from your other posts now. So you and your clan sockpuppets (yes the name does kinda give it away) can continue sh*tposting in your collective hugbox you're creating here in the hopes the game will change, cos you want it to. If it ain't for you as you claim, why open your mouth and ram it down everyone's throats? That speaks volumes about who you are.

I got a game to play, however it stands, and I'd rather go play it than be a keyboard hero.

Good luck with your campaign to change the game. I suck so hard apparently, as does everyone else who welcomes change, yet we want the game to stay the way it is. Yeah cos we enjoy losing, and we are the ones complaining the game has got harder and being picked on, and finding excuses in the face of many not happy with the change. Yeah that makes sense. Oh no I got that the wrong way round didn't I?

Wish for it in one hand, sh*t in the other, see which one fills up first. I ain't going nowhere, you were the kid threatening to quit if it didn't go your way. So do it, like a spoilt child. You can come back at me when you have successfully changed the game, Che Guevara. Lead your oppressed brothers to the revolution!

You being fortunate enough to be a TH9 when the update came in is the only reason you are able to raid effectively...that and you staying on for hours at a time.... not your "skill"..... Once again i can see why you're confused. I mean it's only been said to you about 10 times. Though id honestly be surprised if you understood that any quicker :p

I mean i know its a difficult concept to grasp...

Dealing with people like you though actually makes me relieved. When i see this is what the other side of the argument has to offer its reassuring :)

It might alleviate what is going on at the moment to be in Crystal, but as Brox said earlier, if everyone moves to Crystal then crystal will be the new silver / gold and the issue will have just moved with it.

Some people hated the trophy system, but being able to choose your choice of gameplay instead of being forced into crystal / master like conditions was one of the things I liked about this game.

That's why I have my solution on the first page. Something that will allow people to play the way we want (as I've done for the past year) and also gives higher TH's the loot they need to stay interested.

Oh yeah, cos your objective is to complain til you're blue in the face and get your own way. Or as you might reason it: liberate these oppressed people you say you're arguing it for.

Want to play a game occasionally and casually but seemingly endless time to whine and whine and whine? Maybe give it a rest here and go back to the game you ain't got time for?

Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone joining a clan if you are all moaning this much. I been a war guest in many clans recently with plenty of low level casual kids who can only raid at odd times and I've never so much as seen a single complaint even when the subject comes up they are praising it.

Just what is this obsession you got? Others can speak for themselves if they are that bothered, so if you go on about it and continue to stalk me or snipe at others saying they're having no problems with accusations, it's purely for your own needs and your need to get your own way.

No one cares, get on with your game like everyone else has, even the ones who have complained. Or not, whatever, just stop crapposting the forum eh?

I see people saying that , they have no problms with this new matchmaking ...well , first i'm sorry for my horrible english , however i would like to leave here my opinion about people saying that they have no problem's with matchmaking and posting screenshot's and rude comments , in this game there is two types of player's , people farming and people always attaking to loot , now SuperCell updated CoC with this new patch i dont know why they did this , all the people that is trying to save Gold , Elixir or Dark Elixir , can't save anymore because people with more 20 levels ahead will attack you and take you 8 hour's of resources. So don't ask for printscreen's , and stop calling people liar just because ur not attacked YET . I'm sure you guys are not different...:o

So you lose 250k and get a shield? Any player worry their salt should be raiding that amount many times over, if you are skipping and searching correctly and using cheap armies. You raid more than you lose in a single attack, and put your town hall outside, and you are in profit every time.

The only people this affects are casual players who can't/don't/won't raid more, and hence, play less and probably spend nothing.

Seeing as you got the game for free, and aren't the ones who fund it or enjoy it for as many minutes a day as those who do, why would SC invest money in the players who bring nothing in? Of course the game is gonna afapt to the more serious players.

There's reams of shovelware 'turn up when you feel and still progress' games on the app stores for casuals, so go play one of them.

I could not say this any better myself. Personally, this is how the game was meant to be played. Just because it negatively affects you, doesn't mean it negatively affects everyone. If you are one of those people with the philosophy that not raiding is a good idea, you have no clue how much profit one can have in a few hours of raiding with a relatively quick cooking army. I typically use 20 loons, 60 minions and I can farm almost any base. Barch works great too, all archers even. Idk why you complain, YOUR play style is negatively affecting you, so change it, don't ask supercell to change the game.

We all are being hit with lvl 20+ heros bud. Thats how it is up in higher leagues. All you guys on your high pedestals need to realize that us th 10's are 3 stared ALL the time. Its not unusual. Putting your th outside should help 90% of the time if you have your collectors inside. This update was a fantastic idea because it spread activity throughout the leagues. Bronze is no longer that inactive, and neither is Silver. We need to keep things the way they are. Its how it should work. Heck, a few days ago I was hit with Max heros. Did I go and cry to supercell, no. I accepted it because its normal! Thats how the game works, you should have to raid more than you lose in order to profit, whether its trophies or loot your hunting for. I say get over it, and get to farming man.

Not sure exactly what you're trying to suggest here.

Are you suggesting that the loot penalty be removed for these bases and revert back to the old matchmaking? Or are you suggesting that the new matchmaking remain in place, but in addition, remove the loot penalty on these bases so that they're seen as more valuable targets and your base is not attacked as often?

Changes to the game come with both pros and cons. The new matchmaking has solved some major issues, whether you believe it or not.

Last year, the forum was flooded with "bad loot" threads and posts. When loot was bad, not as many players were getting raided for a lot of loot.

SC started addressing this issue when they increased league bonuses. But this wasn't enough to fix the issue. Then they added level 12 collectors and removed elixir for lower level walls. The removal of elixir for those walls helped a lot, and the economy began to improve. But many TH10s were still stuck farming league bonuses exclusively because of the sheer amount of lower town halls protected by the loot penalty that would have to be nexted through.

Then came the matchmaking change. This was the true game changer. No more nexting through hundreds/thousands of low town halls that aren't worth attacking because of the loot penalties. The loot issues for higher town halls are finally solved.

But the thing is, when loot is good, more players get raided for more loot.

Hate to break it to you, but you're one of those players contributing to the good loot. But the good news is that since loot is good, you can raid more than you lose if you adapt to the change. Just like we all had to adapt when loot was bad, you're going to have to adapt now that loot is good.

If you're asking them to revert the change, you're wasting your time. Not gonna happen.

I am almost a maxed town hall 9 and the new matchmaking made it almost impossible for me to farm in any trophy range, not because I can't find resources, but because TH10's raid me with level 35+ queens and kings as well as max troops
