Matchmaking is killing the game

Also you stated that you read Turnarcades posts and every word of the thread before saying that you agreed with him.

I'm interested to know what you agreed with? - The thread regarded people who couldn't stay logged in, who had loot worth taking and who were either very new TH9's or lower.....

Turnarcades advice had 3 potential solutions....
1. Be a higher level (umm lol)
2. Stay logged on more (lol again considering the posts in here)
3. Don't ever break a shield just collect from extractors and war loot (only really relevant for an alt).

So which part of what Turnarcades said were you agreeing with in particular? The be a higher level one?

How is moving leagues a solution? If everyone moves to crystal then everyone will experience the same problem. If all the Th8's move up, the TH9's smashing them will move up, if the Th8's move down...the TH's smashing them will move down.

As I said to the previous guy, what part of what turnarcades said do you agree with?

He didn't have much to say except be a higher level, or don't log out.... both LOL suggestions for the majority of CoC playerbase...

Although I'm assuming you "agreeing" is saying "this is great I get to belt people nonstop as long as i don't log out :)"

Nah, I'm not going to belt people. Don't get mad, bro. Everyone stays in silver since all the loot is there, what do you not understand? Calm down, in the end it is a game. Like arpz said our TH8's are not experiencing any problem, and they don't complain about it. Spend loot as much as possible so people don't raid it!

It's great if you guys aren't getting hit and you either have cheap enough things to spend before logging off OR are able to stay on long enough to afford the expensive things before logging off.

If you like this update due to your gameplay or it's just inconvenient for you but not to the point of complaining...then that is of course great for you. This isn't dealing with you guys particularly, legit happy you guys are going well in it. The concern is for those who can't do what you guys are doing.

Not everyone can go to crystal, not everyone can earn enough to spend their loot (unless they ignore defences/units and do walls). If you guys are at the stage where most stuff is maxxed for your level and you can just drop gold on walls then that's awesome.

Other people aren't in this same situation. Many will just vote with their feet, the more people that move to crystal, the more lucrative it will be to attack people in crystal rather than Silver.

The loot is in Silver atm because that is where it was less competitive, making it competitive there will either
A. Drive people out of Silver as you said (Simply move the issue around without solving it) OR
B. Make people quit.

Anyone who thinks people quitting this game is a good idea needs to rethink what is in the best interest of the game and NOT their own hardcore views on gaming survival (or whatever else it was Turn said)

Nazgould had a great solution at the start, without simply saying "GET RID OF THIS"

Unfortunately because of how particularly dense Turnarcades is that part of this post has been largely forgotten in favour of "No its Great!! versus No it Sucks!! - arguments"

So far it seems any solution folks try - or carrying on the way they were - is working better than endless insufferable whining, jumping on and quoting every person who disagrees with you and posting on every thread I do on the forums just to disagree with any word I say on any subject. Again, wasn't part of your big argument you (and others) had better things to do than stay online to play your game?

And yet these people, and ironically you most of all, are spending tons of time multi posting essay-length complaints on here, backtracking people's posts to quote them, sending your moaning minions to their clans to look for holes, and still challenging that people doing well MUST be high level, living online or one of many other excuses you like to cook up.

If you can't see the hypocrisy by now of spending all this time trolling and complaining, and still people coming forward saying entire clans aren't struggling that you accuse MUST live online on their game, then you are beyond reason. The irony of all this time spent investigating and spam posting over and over different excuses and challenging everyone who posts on these threads, yet saying you only have the time or inclination to play casually, is very obvious to others, if not to you.

Even the ones who've started these threads haven't showed as many return posts or butthurt as you, even though you claim you are 'speaking for all the casual th8's out there and making these complaints'. So why can't you give it a rest?

Oh yeah, cos your objective is to complain til you're blue in the face and get your own way. Or as you might reason it: liberate these oppressed people you say you're arguing it for.

Want to play a game occasionally and casually but seemingly endless time to whine and whine and whine? Maybe give it a rest here and go back to the game you ain't got time for?

Honestly, I feel sorry for anyone joining a clan if you are all moaning this much. I been a war guest in many clans recently with plenty of low level casual kids who can only raid at odd times and I've never so much as seen a single complaint even when the subject comes up they are praising it.

Just what is this obsession you got? Others can speak for themselves if they are that bothered, so if you go on about it and continue to stalk me or snipe at others saying they're having no problems with accusations, it's purely for your own needs and your need to get your own way.

No one cares, get on with your game like everyone else has, even the ones who have complained. Or not, whatever, just stop crapposting the forum eh?

Someone is a little paranoid, but to clarify my position -

1. I DO think you're particularly dense. I think I've stated that before.

2. I didn't send any 'minions' to your clan. I was laughing with the guys in my clan about you, and one of them decided to go and have a look at your clan (courtesy of your screenshot that he saw).... We did have a good laugh at the screenshots he took though. Seems your skill extends to barching only :P

3. I have no particular interest in stalking you, I may post on things you've posted on (didn't realise you had exclusive rights to them) AND often I'll disagree with you, but that's usually because you're wrong - see point 1.

4. If anyone was to stop crapposting I'd hope it was you, I thought you'd left this discussion?

5. I have never said I was a casual player, in fact I said I would be considered a "hardcore" player in comparison to most. I DID however also say that I have many casual friends, many of which don't have the patience to deal with the particularly dense people like yourself :)

6. I'm more than happy to speak for those people, it is part of my job IRL to speak for people, and writing a response (taking previous posts etc) to either validate or discredit something isn't some sort of conspiracy, although I can see why someone like you would think that :)

7. For someone who DOESN'T care what gets changed in a game and who seems to state they will go with any change and become better (lol see 2) you seem to whine endlessly about any potential change that someone might agree with.

8. The reason the matchmaking system was changed was because people complained - IF people are leaving it is bad for the game (once again I know your position on this) - and the people coming up with solutions to keep players here are more valuable to this game than the people who want them to quit because they aren't "hardcore" enough.

And yes, to see a disproportionate amount of replies from one member on posts I make to contradict me, is evident trolling. Also, I didn't come here to whine, I came to say there was nothing wrong and tell people to stop whining. Here is your BIGGEST problem.... YOUR GAME isn't suffering, therefore nobodies is..... what is good for you is good for the game right? This is the difference between you and I, you can only see as far ahead as yourself.

You are NOT raiding high level bases successfully with only barbarians and archers....haha if you think you are successful at it you are either

A. Not raiding high level bases (TH8 might seem high to a TH7 but not to a TH9)
OR
B. You aren't being successful at anything other than an afk higher base which is the ol - circle n pray on extractors raid.

Neither of these have any skill - though you are more than happy to keep going on about it.

Barch doesn't take coordination or timing, it's blob barbarians (maybe healing potion), spread archers.... rinse n repeat.

High Skill players may take a composition of healers / giants / wb / loons / hogs / or whatever else.

ALSO - your name was mentioned PURELY because the person I was replying to mentioned your name.... I mean come on, how dense are you really?

FINALLY:

You keep going on and on about how skillful you are, or how unskillful everyone else mustn't be...but like I said...you barch - the screenshots from your clan show your lack of skill in wars, including your defensive layout. The ONLY thing you have going for you is that you are a TH9 with mainly lvl 9 walls...thereby making you less likely to get attacked since the update.

I am also doing fine in this game, and have REPEATEDLY stated that this update has even been beneficial to me but it isn't for others. The difference is I'm concerned for what makes this game great (a large social game that many people play and pay for)...and you're only concerned with being a hardnut :P

Finally - if you want to come on and argue that you are more skillful than me, make sure you can back it up. Someone from my clan joined, was polite and had a look - your clan wins MAYBE half the time, and your attacked are lackluster, (barely 2 starring on lvl 5 and 6 Anti air with lvl 2 lava and lvl 6 loons) -

When you asked him what he was there for he was honest, he said

"a mate of mine said you were a tard and I wanted to see if you were any good, looks like you aren't" -

You kicked him - so don't act as though he could have stayed and seen anymore of your war attacks - after he showed me your base and your war attacks / war log... I actually sorta felt sorry for you.

In comparison my clan has won 50 and lost 2.... Like I said earlier I wasn't here to get into a "I'm better than you, or my clan is better than yours" argument - but you seem intent on going that way.... problem is you AREN'T skilled at this game and your clan ISN'T a good war clan. -

In comparison my clan IS a successful war clan and we ARE skilled players, and you wouldn't get a spot in the war team with your skills :) . So please, for everyone's sake leave your rhetoric about skill at the door please :)

I did find it funny though when my mate linked a screenshot of you saying "I've got that guys number" haha - like you are even on the same page :P

OP what league are you in? Seems to me that might be your problem. I'm a maxed TH8 in crystal league with a farming base. I don't ever get zapped. even by people with lighting in their pocket. They just snipe the TH for bonus loot.

At the moment I'm in Gold 3 - I've been to Crystal, and honestly it was boring as. Snipes for loot bonus was fun for a bit, but when I could only really do the same in return it was a little ridiculous. Also once I got a reasonable amount of loot (saving for golems or pekkas / wiz towers) - I'd get roflstomped by TH10's -

It might alleviate what is going on at the moment to be in Crystal, but as Brox said earlier, if everyone moves to Crystal then crystal will be the new silver / gold and the issue will have just moved with it.

Some people hated the trophy system, but being able to choose your choice of gameplay instead of being forced into crystal / master like conditions was one of the things I liked about this game.

That's why I have my solution on the first page. Something that will allow people to play the way we want (as I've done for the past year) and also gives higher TH's the loot they need to stay interested.
