Anti-Leave during cw.

I think that im not the only one that hate when people leave at clanwar. So my idea is that people cant leave during clanwar.Like when you select someone for clanwar , he cant leave before the cw ende.It should make cw mutch more fun! I hope that you guys read and chance it.

Forcing anyone to stay is a bad idea. It's just asking for problems. What I recommend is opting out anyone in your clan with the "new" designation. That should help cut down on war deserters.

Can you please explain how it can be more fun to force anyone to stay in a clan?

What if they don't have the troops needed to attack and want to get em from a req and leave clan.

And how about just asking people if they want to war or consider green a go and red a no..

Or don't take new members in wars as everyone suggest...

Why do you want supercell to fix your problem?

Forcing them to stay won't force them to attack, nor will it force them to be cordial in a clan that they are effectively imprisoned in.

Ah yes, the all-too-frequent request... "My clan can't properly manage itself, so I'll ask Supercell to fix my clan management issue for me without the slightest thought to how this would actually impact the game."

OP, if I was forced to stay in your clan durring a war when I didn't want to be there this is what I would do.

1. Put all my loot in one corner with my non defensive buildings.
2. Space my remaining defenses out as much as possible to make them easier to destroy
3. line the boarder with my walls leaving gaps for easy access
4. start my war ATTACK and end it immediately without dropping any troops
5. Donate gobblins to everyones war CC

So you want someone to press attack then surrender directly afterwards? By doing this you're asking for someone to get u zero stars in war because they don't want to stay. All that does is cause you to lose the war in another way.

No. This is a bad idea every time it is suggested because it will cause more, worse problems than "hoppers" already represent. Here is pretty much everything you need to know about dealing with hoppers. Both what will happen if you get your way and how everybody else has learned to deal with 99% of them quickly and easily.

First, SC has a long standing policy of not putting a negative statistic/badge/mark/rank/etc. of any kind on any players profile. They have a fairly strict no name-n-shame policy, as they should. You can accept those ideas as ruled out at face value.

Bad idea every time it is suggested.

Also, in an effort to not only help the OP understand the horrible repercussions of their idea, here is a list of many of the most common things successful clans do to prevent "D-bag hoppers" from being a nuisance (a nuisance, not a problem). Quoting myself from a recent thread again . . .

All of us clan leader types have experienced this and learned to preventing through our own leadership skills and clan rules. There is no need to institute a system that will punish the most social and giving players while making the lowest quality players more destructive.
In my time on the forum here I still have yet to see the answer to these simple questions. Why do you want to force somebody that you don't want in your clan, to be stuck in your clan?

Supercell cant sace you from bad players. Its just not possible. The good news is they've given you all the tools you need to protect yourself.

May I recommend my favorite steps for eliminating this problem from your clan...which I have used to great affect in mine.

1. Recruit slowly. Add no more than 2 new players betwren wars. If you add more than that you are exposing yourself to a mass exodus which will lose you a war.
2. Make new recruits sit out 1 or 2 wars before they can be included. If they arent willing to invest a little bit of time in your clan then they likely arent in it for the long haul anyways

This is the only thing I would change.

I would wait until the highest level I could one star was already hit and starred. I would then use both of my attacks to hit the highest bases available that I know I can one star.

That way, I'm not contributing to their war efforts but if they do manage to win I'll get full loot bonus.

Win, lose or draw - the imprisoned will be redeemed!

How evil of you. I love it.

I understand the complaint but to me the fix would be to make the cool down for the next war for them longer and to include their war history in their profile. This will help the clans that like to have wars but continue to grow as well.

Too many people clan jump because there isn't any type of punishment to discourage it.

If people want to ruin your war then they can and still leave. Leaders and Co leaders should be able to delete bad troops from anyone's war castle. We should also be able to replace the one who left with a equal level town hall to keep those from taking advantage of the system.

I don't want anyone to stay who doesn't want to be part of our clan but at the same time innocent members shouldn't suffer because of a hopper or whatever.

Don't start war with hoppers in your clan. It's your own fault for not screening properly

You are not thinking it through either.

Lets say I am an utter loser of a jerk and I join your awesome clan but I am too stupid to realize out awesome it is so I want to leave. lets also assume that someone has put your suggestion in play so that if I do leave there is 'some sort of punishment'. I will incur. Well gee I don't want that. So my best be is to get myself kicked. So I put goblins into the war cc. I google 'cussing' so I can learn more offensive words than I know already and I start using all of them. I make several guys so mad they decide they could care less about the penalty and quit. I then goole 'racial slurs' and get some more ammo. it all goes into the feed. I reply to everything any one says back to me with an F bomb. Maybe I even get more to leave. Finally the leader has no choice but to kick me before I hurt his clan any more than I have already.

How that works out for everyone....

For me....Free at last!!! And no penalty.

For the clan and their leader....Would have been better off if I had simply left.


So instead of punishments and all these other "oh dear Supercell I want to leader but cant run a clan so you have to do it for me pleeeeeez" type thoughts. Instead look at how you can take charge of the matter and head the problem off before it happens. This thread already has many good suggestions how so read a little.

One of the other problems with the OPs suggestion is the assumption that the clan is treating a player well. Consider a couple examples.

First, lets say i completely screw up my first attack and my leader starts verbally abusing me. Lets say they belittle me constantly and everyone in the clan does the same. Now I'm stuck with them because if i leave i get a penalty? Not good.

Also, lets say I opted out of war but the leader brings me anyway. And worse, the clan is on UK time and I'm in the U.S. and the leader starts wars while I'm asleep. Am I to be forever tied to this clan because the leader keeps tying me to war?

Bottom line is this is a clan leadership problem. Every clan faces this problem. But good clan grow slowly and it does not affect them. We've had 2 war time defectors in the past 4 months. Neither of them even registered a blip on our problem radar.
