What is best clan war strategy without heros?

Hey all, as a th10 with heros unavailable, what are my best options for scoring vs low to mid th10s or max th9s in clan wars? I've tried penta/quadra laloon and the RNG is too great. I can easily get a 1 star, but anything more than that seems like luck. Gowipe and gowiwi seems a bit better at 2 starring, but 3 stars aren't too likely. Mass dragons vs a th10 is not possible but a possible two star vs a th9.

Give me an example of the army please and how many stars it would get vs a th9 or a th10. Thanks.

Also as an aside, how come this isn't asked much? Heros take a ton of time to upgrade, but everyone seems to have them available.

For me personally, it would be the 'opt out' button.

I never have both heroes upgrading such that I can't do both my war attacks with at least one hero on offense.

Not to say a gowipe against the right equally ranked th10 enemy base can't produce a 2-star, but it's almost so risky that I wouldn't want to risk screwing my clan with an ever so slightly failed attack. I would just opt out.

LavaLoon can definitely be successful if you're able to take out their AQ. This is usually done by adding a golem/jump(wbs) and heroes to back up/kill the AQ, however, it's also very possible by using witches or wiz as the kill squad if your heroes are out of commission.

So it'd be LavaLoon with a golem replacing one hound.

- lure the CC using hogs, giants, loons, drop a kill squad to take care of them
- drop golem and jump or WBs to get into the vicinity of the AQ, and use wiz and witches for the kill (sometimes an AD is also taken out in the process which is a bonus)
- then deploy your LavaLoon as usual (with rage and freeze)

It's not easy, but it's doable in some cases.

My members and I have both heroes upgrading constantly and we 3 stars TH9-10 with tetra/penta lavaloon... post-update is harder but still doable.

Do a laloon hybrid attack
If you are facing a base with enemy queen nears 1 AD, the use cold blood (1 golem) golaloon. If there are 2 ADs near the enemy queen, use shattered (2 golems) golaloon instead. The idea of cold blood or shattered is to take down enemy queen plus 1 or 2 ADs (inferno too if you are lucky enough) before sending laloon attack in clockwise or counter-clockwise motion.

how do u take out enemy queen without heros? Do you use wizards?

What do you do about CC?

I've seen ppl without any Heroes 3 star similar bases using lavaloons and Valk raids

But I'm sure they are extremely talented, or lucky...I can never do that...
