I'm the new owner of a phone with an old acc

Received an iphone 5 from my dad today, i did a factory reset, i set up a new apple id and new gamecenter account.
But the old clash of clans account is still there and i want to link my own account from my android device, however that is not possible since the old one is th9.

How do i get rid of this base?

It is possible that this iphone already has been linked to another phone, but im unsure.

Sorted things out the easy way by making a new village on a different phone and then replacing it with the th9 one.
