Matchmaking PROBLEM

Here is the problem as I see it. The new match making sucks. I currently have a mini troll going on where people (like me) who rushed to Gold 2 and Gold 1 who attack my TH get trolled by the giant bombs and hidden Teslas. It has defeinently changed the amount of trophies I lose to attacks on myself.

But out there are also a lot of people, who are dropping down trophy wise. The have maxed bases for their TH lv, and same goes for their troops. When ever they attack they win. So people are placing there TH outside their base in the hopes that people attack the TH and move on.

This is why this is a BIG problem. People like myself who want trophy a quickly, attack these and GAIN about 9k elixir and 11k good EVERY ATTACK! We gain about 50 trophy a day, and get about 100k resources. We also don't lose that many trophies.

But now I am in GOLD 2 and can't find any farmers. Everyone is rushed and have maxed cannons and archers. I (An almost maxed TH 7 including TROOPS) CANT FIND A BASE TO ATTACK. It's sad. And I'm only in gold 2. Before the update the matchmaking wa sol, and I had friend swho were easily Crystal 3 and TH 7.... NOW THEY HAVE DROPPED down, to gold 2 just so they can get trophies and loot.

so please fix this problem. I don't know how, but please fix it.

Well here is my solution.

The matchmaking is based off of similar TH levels. And amount of trophies. If I am a TH 7 I know that I can only find 6-8 TH level bases. I can't find Th 5- or TH 10. This is because they don't have the same defenses or loot available.

here is a chart:

So let's say I am a TH 7 in Gold 2. I can only find Th 6-8 and only of they are in GOLD 3 - CRYSTAL 3.

This is so I can't find a Th 10 and lose good to pass it, and TH 9 cants attack me and get 100%.

It does not matter what league you are in, since the update you mainly only see THs near you. Whether you are in Bronze crystal or champs - 95% of what you see will be +/- 1 TH. I cant really swear thats true for Champs as I am sure so few lower TH levels are there. Thats the spirit of it.

If you mainly find THs +/- 1 TH lvl from you - what the heck difference does it make what league you are in? If I find a TH9 in bronze or a TH9 in Masters - what difference does it make? And why does it matter to you?

Unfortunately your problem won't ever be solved. As for a solution, what can you do about it yourself?

1. Barch your way back to the top- find a good league you can be in
2. Problem with barching, you keep going up til you can't go any farther
3. And now you are back in the same situation. No loot and no trophies
4. Upgrade your base defenses so strong that you stand a fighting chance in higher leagues.

I don't have a problem with the new matchmaking, in fact, I sort of like it more. Takes me just as long to find a base, but they often have more loot.

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying, but from what I can tell, the new system has reduced the need for players to drop trophies because they are being matched against similar THs with far less trophies than they would have seen before.

People have always put their TH out though, and I don't think the updated changed anything there. And if you want trophies quickly, you can't be too particular about how much loot players you attack have, so it's basically like saying I want to have my cake and eat it too.

So what has the update done, really...you're not coming across rushed/dead TH9s and 10s that maybe you could have pulled a lot of loot off of before. Were you hitting a lot of those? Because otherwise I'd say you've just been having bad luck. And honestly gold 2 is the absolute highest you want to be as a TH7 if you're trying to get loot, so maybe the thing to do is drop a couple hundred trophies and see what you get.

Well if I drop to gold 3 or silver league, then won't I get less loot from bases that are below me. I mean if I atagck a TH 8 I get more than if a TH 10 attacks the same TH 8. Right? Or do I get more because I am higher?

The question is why are you dropping at all?

The problem seems a bit more legit since you're TH7, but you're telling me you can't find rushed TH8s, TH7s or TH6s to attack at your trophy range?

You also made a statement earlier about friends dropping from crystal so they can get loot and trophies...which makes no sense...you don't drop trophies to gain trophies.

And the amount of loot available to you is based on your TH level. As a TH7, you get 100% of the loot available from any TH7 or up, regardless of trophies. If you attack a TH6, there is a 10% penalty from what would be available to another TH6. If you attack a TH5, you only get 50% of what would be available to another TH5.

So yes, when you attack a TH8, there is twice as much loot available as there would be for a TH10 that attacked the same base.
