8th Dark Troop: LIGHTNING HOLDER (the Tesla skeleton) - 2015 Idea +PICs(GameSketcher)
We all know that there is Wall level 11 - electric wall. And also we all know that clashers predict that there will be Town Hall level 11 - electric. So... we would see this electric troop available for Town Hall level 10. (Lava Hound - lava, available on TH9 while TH10 - lava; Lightning Holder - electric, available on TH10 while TH11 - electric)
- Summary
- The Lightning Holder is the eighth overall troop unlocked in the Dark Barracks.
- The Lightning Holder's appearance is that of a small dark skeleton that wears a brown aviator hat and has a small scar across its right eye socket (just like Wallbreaker). It carries a little Tesla. _ sorry the skeleton on picture supposed to be black _
- The Lightning Holder attacks by locating the nearest building. It deals single target damage around its target and deals 2x damage to P.E.K.K.As.
- Lightning Holders (dark skeletons) strike hits from their tiny Teslas while they're moving
- The Lightning Holder has its own tiny Tesla which is dealing the damage to: A) Any (buildings, troops, heroes) B) Any, expect Walls. (there's no life/energy in Walls)
- When Lightning Holders aim the same target, their attack type changes to "Area splash", because of shocking.
- Hidden Tesla deals only a half of its damage to Lightning Holder and conversely. (also Lightning Holder deals a half of its damage to enemy Lightning Holder)
- Offensive Strategy
- Lightning Holders destroy P.E.K.K.As faster than any other unit, so it's mainly good for defending.
- Lightning Holders cost a little amount of Dark Elixir. To combat this, one or two Giants may be placed first to distract the nearby defensive structures. Wall Breakers can then be used to target reinforcements and destroy them.
- Giants and Lightning Holders make an excellent team: The Giants distract and Lightning Holders destroy reinforcements. Then the Giants can move in successfully and Lightning Holders do the clean-up.
- Lightning Holders can be extremely effective if you deploy 3 or 5 at a time.
- Before you deploy Lightning Holders, place a couple Giants or Golems to soak up hits so the Lightning Holders don't die so fast. It is helpful to place the Giants or Golems a short distance away from the target so that splash damage from a Mortar or Wizard Tower won't catch them as well.
- Lightning Holders in groups do splash damage, so it can also be used to finish off Walls close to the Buildings.
- Supporting the Lightning Holders with a Healing or Rage spell is a good idea, because that them do more.
- Also supporting Lightning Holders with Wall Breakers is good, because while Lightning Holders does the main work and clean-up, Wall Breakers make path between Walls for them.
- Defensive Strategy
- Be sure that your Mortars and Wizard Towers are good placed.
- Don't make holes between Walls.
- Upgrade Differences
- At level 3, the Tesla becomes better.
