Elixir for walls at level 6

Hi guys, I'm adam and I know that a lot of people will support this idea
One of the previous versions of clash of clans had the feature of upgrading your walls with coins or elixir starting from level 5 walls but then they modified the feature to walls above level 8 I guess, the point is a lot of people maxed out the stuff to be upgraded with elixir but still has lots of elixir in the storage and out of gold and they have low level of walls so by bringing this feature back to walls level 5+ so that everyone can have good bases. It takes 200K gold for 1 wall to be level 7 and your gold will be 0 in a second after upgrading so you can use elixir to upgrade walls

They removed this so why would they add it back? This has been requested multiple times so please do some searching before posting.

I'm new to the game so I didn't see the effect live ... but I'm wondering , if it is up to you to decide whether to spend gold OR elixier on walls ... how can this lead to "short on elixier" ? how could making gold for upgrade mendatory fix this ? I would understand it if it was "only elixier" before Oo
But this way the only way it makes sense is to say that many people aren't fit in economizing so they need to be taken by hand ...

Okay I'll put this simply for you and the others that come along.

As it stands you can only upgrade to level 9+ walls with elixir. At this level the cost to upgrade a single segment of wall is 1 million of either gold or elixir. If a player has approximately 1 million elixir collected then the amount that is available to raid means it is cost effective for a player 1 TH level above them to raid. They should gain more elixir than they used to train the army.

For a level 8 wall the cost per segment is only 500k to upgrade. A player who has less than 500k of resources collected then they do not have enough loot for other players to raid. At this point because it costs more to train the army than the players are winning back from a successful raid then the amount of elixir in circulation plummets, which is what happened.

You may remember a little thing called 'HOLY SH!T THERE IS NO LOOT F**K THIS GAME WHERE IS THE LOOT!?!' Aka 'The Loot Problem'. This started when walls were upgradable with elixir from level 6. People were spending their gold AND elixir on walls. They would have very little loot left. Then, people went around raiding, spending gold for every new match. Since everyone was using all their loot of both kind on walls, people would keep hitting the next button, their gold slowly evaporating. That means that they too have less gold. Which meant that they instead used elixir to upgrade their walls. Which meant that no one had any loot. At this time, level 11 collectors were still max level. By changing the elixir requirement to level 9 walls and up, they made sure that people wouldn't spend ALL their elixir, because level 9 walls cost 1,000,000 to upgrade, which means you can still have 999,999 elixir left over that you can't spend. That is raidable elixir, as opposed to spending all your elixir because you can use every last small unit (down to 75,000). I hope that made sense.
