When to move to Town Hall 8.

Hey guys im a Town Hall 7 now and im wondering when i should move to town hall 8, should i max out everything first or just go with it as it is now? Heres the levels of my defensive buildings:
Cannons: lvl8
Archer Towers: lvl7
Wizard Towers:lvl3
Mortars:lvl5
Teslas:lvl1

Max everything besides collectors, walls, and barracks.

Also work on maxing your walls,as u are th 7 ur basically in the perfect zone,3 th higher,3th lower and u can still get ok/great loot,work on wizard towers and have a builder on telsas

I'd max your walls while still TH7. Why? Because of the loot penalty against TH8/9/10. You'll be able to get the gold required to upgrade your walls (and everything else) as a TH7 faster when raiding higher level TH bases. If your troops, camps and spells are maxed, raiding weak to medium strength (and sometimes strong, if you're lucky) TH8/9/10 bases should be easy. Then, because of the loot penalty, when you get revenged by them, they can't take much from you other than trophies, which are useless for upgrading anyway. As a side note, I'm also a TH7 with maxed troops and spells and I rarely use lightning spells to get DE - I don't need to as I can usually break-in far enough to get to their DE storage and/or pumps with the help of maxed rage spells.

Simple! Max out EVERYTHING!

Max all of your defences but if you feel that will lead you away from the game and getting bored then it's fine to go to TH8 as fun is the most important thing about playing a game

yeah i would max everything im still th7 and i still gotta max mortars walls wizards barracks army camps and spell factory... that will take i while.. lol... yeah and im leveel 56...

My brother upgraded to TH8 before he had done much work on TH7, and he was getting 3-starred a lot. I'm currently TH7 and I'm maxing EVERYTHING except maybe walls (getting those to at least 6). I mean collectors, barracks, defenses, everything before I upgrade. TH7 is good for farming, so get the loot for the more expensive upgrades while you can. I currently have:

cannons lv8
at's lv7
ad's lv3
tesla lv1's (just got them)
mortar lv5 and 2 lv4's
all walls lv5
wt's lv4

nobody ever steals any loot from me because the loot penalty from TH8+ coming down is too much, and fellow TH7 or lower can't get through. Don't upgrade to TH8 until you are strong because then strong TH8's can attack you with no loot penalty, and it will be tough to save up for big-ticket upgrades (wt lv4).
