There's a difference between mistakes and unskilled/strategized attacks.
Mistakes are, what Gold mentioned, hitting surrender by mistake, wrong army by mistake, losing connection etc. I believe the wars are RARELY won/lost by mistakes. With the new preview feature before every war attack, you can avoid missing army members/spells. As for the surrender button, you'd literally have to be mentally ill for that. They ask you twice if you wanna surrender or not! PLEASE. Lastly, losing connection can SOMETIMES be a problem for SOME people, but really, this can EASILY be avoided. Use your imagination.
As far as unskilled attacks go, if you lose by 1 star due to a member failing his attack by idiocy, that's the clan's fault. Nuff said.
Why this SHOULDN'T be implemented is because, like mentioned, can be easily abused. (negotiations, easy loot.)
This. Too easy to abuse. Very easy to set up a "take turns" culture ... especially since a member of one group can visit the other to work out the details.
Now ... on a smaller scale ...
CLAN WAR REVENGE: Players who attack you in war end up on your "Revenge" list of options, so you can attack them in the regular multi-player mode. Keep Revenge individual, but let me take a shot of that war loot you just got!
