Okay, so since the last update the air sweeper was added. The air sweeper is a defence that slows down air units without dealing damage. Why not add a new defense that does the same but to land units.
The Moat
Moats are artificial bodies of water that you can mostly see surrounding castles in medieval shows/movies. The idea for this is that moats will slow down land units on their tracks but not their attacking speed because that will affect their dps. For the construction, it is like a wall that covers a 1x1 space and has a no spawn area around it.The amount available is equivalent to the # of walls
Uniqueness:This is the only defensive structure that cannot be attacked(kind of like a trap but its not)
The only defensive structure that cannot be upgraded
Cost:500 Gold
Defensive Strategy:
Put them beside walls for an extra layer of defense
Use it along with the mortar to take out large group of Barch
Hidden Teslas Electricity will travel down the moat making it dangerous for attackers(especially PEKKA)this is the only instance that the moat inflicts damage
Offensive Strategy:
Air troops will make these useless
Do the old meatshield strategy to break through
Edit:
All stats affecting spells will affect a whole moat vein (for example:if a healing spell is dropped on an area of moat it will affect the whole vein)so it can also be used against the defender)
Freeze spells affects one whole vein
