in your opinion, what are the best- and worst-looking walls?

title says it all

best: lvl10
worst: tie between lvl5 and lvl6

Anything below lvl six looks horrendous to me.
I don't have a "best" wall actually. Hmp.

Best for me is lvl10...they just look awesome imo

Worst for me is lvl6..Just look horrid

I love my lavas, but would say zaps look the best. They may not match the buildings, but they definitely catch your eye.

Worst would be the pink ones. Yuck.

Best: 10 or 11
Worst: 8 and below. 9s are alright.

My fave is level 10, my least is between 6 and 11 because the colors don't really fit the Townhalls theme

used to like skulls but now they're ♥♥♥♥.

I think its the combo.

All pink looks fine, all purple looks fine, but the combo looks worse than either on their own.

Skulls look great, legos look great, the combo looks great. They just work really well together. The same goes for lavas/skulls/legos, all work together and look great.

All lower level walls don't look great together, except gray and gold, which mesh quite well visually , and IMO zaps don't look great in combination with lower walls, or even by themselves.

Best would be level 10 for me.
Worst....don't hate if I say but I don't like the look of level 11 walls at all. Too much blue and just goes against the color of the base. I would like them more if they were a little more dark blue or something. But light blue... ugh.

Also the color scheme between level 9 and level 10 isn't all that different(one has lava while the other is just a lego shape).
Please explain why you don't like level 10 walls. I find it odd that you like level 9 walls but hate level 10.

My top 3: Lvl 9, lvl 3 and lvl 10.

My worst looking walls selection: lvl 6, 7 and 8.
I just really REALLY hate the stupid crystal walls. never made any sense nor did it bring any wow factor.

I agree. It's either 'Use search!' or 'stop necroing threads!'. You can't have BOTH. Leave modding to the mods.

I really like the level 9 & 10 ones
Literally hate, just hate the level 6 ones.

Best: 3 the smooth stone style walls are awesome. Too bad you don't have them for long. Next would be the legos with torches in the corners, really cool.

Worst: 8 skull walls are terribly ugly. Also really dislike 4, they just don't look right at all.

Before update I didn't have fav or least fav. Now after update, still no fav but least fav is lvl 4.

Best: Level 10 walls. Best paired with TH9s

Worst: Anything below level 7 walls, they look lifeless

In my opinion, from an unbiased point of view, level 4 (the old ones at least!) are the most intimidating, then level 9. Lavas are pretty darn intimidating as well.
Worst? Level one of course haha. If not, then the gold walls. From level 4 to level 5 you go from huge, hulking iron behemoths to these little dainty things made out of a very soft mineral. :smirk:

Best is lv5 because it's made of gold. Worst is lv4 , looks like cheap iron. Lv1 looks good too . Like a farm.

lots of people like 9 and 10 and lots of people hate 4-6

Level 10 is the best looking without a doubt.

IMO anything below 7 is ugly. Even 7 is EH to me, I really like skulls and up. Level 11 kinda throws the whole color thing off, I think Level 10 walls hit TH9 and especially 10 perfectly.

Nothing beats a completely maxed townhall 9.
The look with those all black bows and lava walls is awesome.

Unfortunately, I don't have the patience for that lol

For me.. IMO..lvl 9 walls above it's not to far difference than the old version..but below that lvl 9..it's very terrible looks...not matching with all around building..and doesn't looks a life like the old version of the graphics walls. Yakxz :facepalm:

For me, best walls are lavas and wood walls. Something about wood walls, remind me of when I first started.
Worst walls are probably gold walls, or zaps.

I'm stuck between Lego (lvl9) or Lava (lvl10) walls for the best looking walls.
For worst looking wall, definitely got to be the Pink (lvl6) walls.

When I had full crystals it was skulls. When I had full skulls it was legos. Now that I nearly have full legos it is lavas.

Bit of trivia - the pink walls were a different colour during the beta - April-August 2012 :) if my memory serves me right they were a shade of aquamarine (woo hoo)

Anyway back on subject I like Legos the best.

Worst: level 4, 6 & 7

they don't fit in CoC

IMO all wall levels look good in combinations with adjacent levels. i.e 2 go well with 3, 6 go well with 7

Best IMO are Skulls, Legos and Lavas. Also, all 3 of em look great when combo'd together. Still, Zaps look the sexiest when they're complete. I actually like neon blue colour of the Zaps, they compliment well with TH10's overall red lava colour scheme.

Worst are either those lvl 5 Goldies or those lvl 6 crystal stubs.
