It now seems to take two hours for a war. that's not what this post is about, but I just want to say this is annoying. The matchmaking seems to be much worse, a max th6 is considered the same as a rushed th8. A max th6 has no chance of three staring a rushed th8 as they have more defences, maybe this is to help out rushed players, i dont know.
But anyway my point is about the amount of warlocked players i see. Can we have some kind of system in place where a player in prep day can not join a new clan (or if possible leave the war clan they are in) till the war starts. Now I'm not saying they have to fight, but if they join a clan and get in a war, and then they leave, its just a nuisance as they join other clans; like mine, and I have to kick them cos they have 1 day 23 hours on warlock.
Now I don't know if that player opted out of war and ended up in a war he didn't ask for, We have an opt out option but the leader can override it.
Why can the leader override that btw?
if the player is opt out then it should be as if he is war-locked. the leader can not select him for war, otherwise how is it useful?
a player should have to opt into war. If he does; and he is in a war, he should be stopped from leaving during prep day. This would make it harder for spies as well, and reduce hopping. If the player is a problem then they shouldn't be in the war in the first place, but I would say that they can't join a new clan till the war starts.
My reasons behind this are as follows. what if the war starts off and you have a great score and the player sees that, he is more inclined to get involved, how many clans have you joined and then seen the bad war log and left right away?
my idea is to slow the amount of hopping by showing players how clans operate.
also this is not a way to trap players in clans.
they would have to opt into the war, and then be placed in a war. so they would make the choice to be in that war, and if they do then they should not be allowed to leave.
but if people want to hop around they still can, they just don't opt into war. That mean's a player who genuinely is looking for a new clan can bounce around and they don't get caught in a war by mistake, but players who are looking to get into wars and get expensive troops and then leave for kicks and giggles are stopped in their tracks. an example is written below.
so a player joins a warclan and asks for dragons for war
leader makes him a dragon he takes it and then curses the leader and leaves the clan
now if that player wanted good troops, you could tell him they are only for war members
he has to opt into a war, and once tied into a war he would be given the troops
player then can't leave untill the war starts, or after the war
the best war clans would have nothing to worry about as they have players who stay anyway
but it would help the new clans the ones that are building up, and keeping players around would help them
remember nobody is being forced to stay in a clan they don't want to be in
they are opting into a war with the clan they want to be with for 24 to 48 hours
they cant be kicked either, but if abusive they can be muted by the leader
i think this would help clan wars a lot
