I'd like to know if balloons do damage to hostile CC troops after they get destroyed and fall to the ground. I was recently in a clan war and used my remaining attack on a random person with cc troops still left, the balloons got wiped out pretty quickly (not surprising at all) but then all of the cc troops were left standing. And if balloons don't do damage to enemy troops on the ground... That doesnt make any sense at all because when the fall they do damage to enemy buildings so. :smirk:
They do, but its quite a small AOE.
They have to drop right on top of them
They do absolutely do damage, but not as much as they do in a regular attack. The damage done to enemy troops/buildings is the same. They can be used to kill CC troops if the troops have been bunched correctly and the loon drop is correct. A max balloon will kill lvl 5 wizards from dead splash, but not lvl 6's. They'll take out any tier one troops, skeletons, or witches as well.

if you want help lining it up for your own attack or to know if it should destroy them for sure, the loon should have its shadow directly on them of slightly off the cc to kill them.
fyi they do damage anything they fall on, the area seems smaller than their attack splash damage but not sure. the damage they deal upon death is equal to their dps, not as much as a full attack tho. a max loon will kill archers, barbs, skeletons, and wiz up to level 6. max wiz will survive with like 1 hp, so really easy to kill with a few follow up troops
I'm only TH8 so i don't have max loons yet, will in the next couple of months though, thanks everyone
