Optional Update bugs

Hello,
Today i installed the optional update that fixed a few bugs in the game. When i opened clash of clans, the sounds were bugged, and everything sounds like a wall or bomb. Heroes dont say anything anymore, and troop deployment makes thing swiping sound. How do you fix this? Is there any way to downgrade to the previous version? As the game is now confusing and weird without all the sound effects. Here's some additional information about my device:
Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
Version: Android 4.2.2
