but for war the two clans i have been in since wars came out, it has taken no longer than 45 minutes to find a match. we have done wars from 10v10 all the way to 35v35 and it hasnt taken over an hour. all depends on the time you start the search and the type of players in the clan i guess.
EDIT:
" When you click the war tab, you can either search for a war or tournament. For tournaments, it will search for closely related clans (like wars) and make a bracket of however many it takes to have the tourney last a week or 5 days. It would act much like a clan war, before the tournament starts there will be a 24 hour prep day. Once it is over you cannot change the tourney base until the next tournament prep day (not the next clan you face in the tourney) . Each war on a clan will last a day and as it ends, it would add the scores to the bracket then immediately start the battle on the next clan. You can only scout the bases of the clan you are currently facing and not of any others. All you can see of what's happening with the others is the score between them.
Right now that's all I could come up with on the war side. For loot though, the winners of the entire tournament get a full castle of loot depending on how much they can hold obviously. Also whoever had the most heroic attack and most heroic defend on the winning team only, gets 100 gems or so each (under 50 does not seem worth it for a week to me), or enough gems (90) to be able to boost all 4 barracks, spell factory, both dark barracks, and both heroes one time. if there would be a conflict on selecting the most heroic attack and defend by the winning team in each of the clans they faced in the tourney, then maybe all participating members of the winning clan would receive the gem award.
the gem part is most likely not going to happen, but just throwing it out there as it would be a nice reward for winning a tournament. If the same person receives both the most heroic attack and defend, they will still only get the regular amount of gems, it will not double for them (wouldn't be a problem if the entire winning team receives the award).
One other part too, your clan can only do one war or tournament at a time. for example if you start a war and find a match, you cannot start the matchmaking to be in a tournament until the war is over and vice versa. Active clans will probably choose a tournament and wars can still be for people who wish to only play on weekends or when they like."
