Though not against the rules, zapping is an act of douchebaggery. Nevertheless, people should just 3-star the zapper instead of whining about it on the forums and/or reporting them. IMO the only justification for zapping is a trapped town hall, but it should not be nerfed or removed from the game.

I am a fairly well developed th 9 and I will admit that recently, I zapped a little bit. Hey, I had plenty I elixir and I wanted to upgrade my heroes fast. Zapping is a strategy like any other. Just not a very honest one.
