50% or more, without getting TH = tie with no shield. Make it happen, SC! No more archer circle absurdities in champs, and force people to have a plan for the TH if they want cups. Right now the best defense of trophies, at every level, is to leave your most important building (TH) exposed. Think about how broken that is lol.
So I destory 90% of the base, miss the TH and get no cups (assuming that's what you mean by tie)... how is that any less insane than exposing a TH for a shield?
If someone can 50% you with just archers on champions you are doing something wrong with your base design or you have very low defenses (are you a defenseless TH10 by the way?).

I agree 100% with the sentiment that putting your TH out in Champs is ridiculous, and a blight on what is supposed to be one of the pinnacles of achievement in the game. And yes I'd guess that at least half of the champs, maybe even a lot more, myself included, go on defense with their TH out, to get a very cheap shield - below 3600 it's over 90% clipped for -1, and even over 4200 I'm still getting about 50% 1-3 cup losses (including one 2-star loss which was a 2-star attack lol). Not only does it take away from an important part of the game - the uncertainty of defense vs offense and the chance that either side could win - but it also very quickly removes potential targets from the pool of available bases, which are a potential source of cups for people that are often below the defender.
Anyway, slightly better solutions for champs might be that a TH snipe doesn't count as a win, i.e. to get a star you need 50%, then the TH and TH gives 50%, then of course 100% gives 3 stars. Just a thought...
If Sc made you lose 1k of each res (including dark) when your Th is destroyed, then that would stop everyone up to mid champs from exposing it. Would be a million angry players creating threads on here though 😡
Truth is that apart from the very occasional push forget cups till your base is totally maxed, walls and all. Only thing cups are good for is to get you out of the reach of zapper nubs.
1.) TH10 is all about defending against 50%. In a good warbase layout it is really hard to get the th AND 50% at the same time. In a good trophy pushing layout it is hard to get either 50% or the th.
2.) Having no shield from th or 40% would be a nightmare for th10s because nobody is able to get the th and 50% with a farming army. You will get attacked the whole night until your storages are empty and player will start putting all defenses in the corner to loose their ressources only once.
For stars I think this could be a good idea. 1 star is a draw with no trophy change and 2 stars is 50% or th max trophies. This would making a good base layout and attacking in champion much more challenging and the better attackers would be on top instead of those that wait in the couds longer.
So fluffy is 100% fixed? Can we definitely celebrate now? :D

A better suggestion might be to cap the amount of loot that you can lose in a day (or 12 hours). That would also make the zap haters happier, since they could only lose a fixed amount to zappers in a day. If you capped the amount of loot that one could lose, you could then do whatever you want with stars/trophies.
