what if you don't use your attacks but don't leave the clan either
Also it does not make sense for a person to go into a war and then not attack/leave. Waste of 48 hours and also screws over the clan too, lose lose scenario.
I'll let Iceageg handle this, but it's a TERRIBLE idea. (and yes, it's been proposed plenty of times before). Hey, let's FORCE people who don't want to be in our clan to stay! Nothing bad could come of that, right? Except I couldn't go to my friend's clan and get max balloons when I need them, and that guy who wanted to leave certainly won't fill everyone's requests with goblins.
How about instead you don't go to war with players you're not sure are loyal?
Thats why theres an opt in/out feature. They need to change it so if you are opted out, you cant be put in war at all. No one would be forcing you to stay lol and why would you go to war and then desert? That probably the most disrespectful thing you can do in this game and if you want to leave, then opt out and leave!
If you dont want to be in the clan, why would you make a 48 hour team commitment?? Just opt out and leave, very easy fix (would require that when opted out, the selector of the roster cant force you in if you say opt out)
Yay I want to force a player to stay in my clan so he can give goblin/giant to everyone and every war castle. When you request yay full of giant now you have to wait an other 20 min or spend gem to request again. Type random obscenity/spam in the chat so we can't have legitimate chat. make troll war base if he happen to be stuck during prep day. Have his 2 war attack surrender so he give zero start.
Being the biggest pain in the ♥♥♥ until the leader kick him so he can get out of the clan.
No they don't. It works the way it is for a reason...clan members aren't always around, but I generally know as a leader who I can probably count on if I opt them in when they're opted out, and sometimes I need 1 or 2 more players to do a bigger war because I don't want to leave out players who are opted in. And if they don't do their battles in that case, I don't penalize them, because it's on me for opting them in.
The second part I agree with though, which is why my clan is full of adults who understand that being counted in and then not battling affects the entire clan, and we don't just put anyone in war until we've vetted them, which is the easiest way to deal with this problem.
Would you rather have undefined or 0 at the very worst? Also you can remove troops from your war castle so thats not a problem but when you request for your clan castle that would be a problem. But also would you take someone to war who donates goblins to your castle? No, youd kick them in a heartbeat before even selecting them in the roster
